And it is right under everyone's noses. Want to learn about palm trees? Want an mid-city oasis? Then talk a walk in this sweet little park off of North Shore. If there is a breeze who will be entertained by the music of the swaying palm trees.

I love this small, charming park so much that I was married here. You'll find more than 500 palms of 150 varieties growing in a small, well manicured park featuring a winding, paved walkway and views of the gulf. The trees are labeled and you will be amazed at the beauty and variety. This park is a part of nearly... More

This is essentially a figure eight of sidewalks through a large variety of palm trees representing species from across the tropics. Not a destination, but if you love palms this is nice to stroll through if you're at the park anyway.

This tiny park contains an large variety of palm trees. A little park on the shore, it's a nice place to pass a couple of hours (if you Really like trees). Signs ID most of the species with brief details such as habitat, origin, fruits. We spent 3 hours, but a casual visitor would probably have their fill in about... More

We are members of the International Palm Society and love Gizella Kopsick! It's a small but impressive collection that is now going to double in size. Tampa physician Dr. Young spent a lifetime traveling and collecting palm trees from around the world. Since his passing his children sold the collection to St. Pete. The expansion is underway so keep checking... More

A very nice small park with many varieties of palm trees. Newly paved and some areas are being refurbished. Great place to walk and relax and enjoy some peace and tranquility.

Great small park; FREE and lots of free parking. When driving NORTH on North Shore Drive, park in the large lot after the Vinoy Resort and after the North Shore swimming pool. This lot is right BEFORE the park. Lots of shade the day we were there. We also wandered around the bayfront promenade while we were parked there.

What a nice collection of trees. Take a walk by yourself or with someone special. I've taken my children to learn more about the plants here. Not many are walking through, which is good, so take advantage of the view near the beach and water and enjoy this little walkway out of the way. I really liked to go through... More

I think this is the largest collection of palms in the world that is free to walk thru. Brick pathway winds among the palms which are labeled.
