If you want to experience a night club type venue for jazz or other musical entertainment of an intimate nature, visit the Side Door for changing entertainment. You sit at Tables. Mostly first come...first served but some reserved seating at some shows. Limited parking so get here early, Oh, you are in a deconsecrated church from the 1920's too. Easy... More

Seems throughout the year you will find something for everyone. Wonderful variety of shows to suit most tastes. Very good acoustics if you like concerts. We love the fact that it's not huge and the decor is fascinating, and we always seem to have a good experience.

We went to see a family member perform in an opera. The acoustics were good, but the seats were a little rugged for me. Good view of stage - the performers were elevated and acted around the small orchestra which was center stage. We loved the architecture in the foyer and side hall. This is a converted church. They could... More

Yes, on the main stage you can see Opera or musical theater or famous groups but venture downstairs to the SIDE Door for almost weekly jazz shows sponsored sometimes by the the Tampa Bay Jazz association. You can hear locals who played with Duke Ellington and you can hear musicians at the start of their careers. Drinks available. You sit... More

A small city and a venue that does not compare with the large opera houses of the major European cities, but the St. Petersburg opera company manages to produce outstanding works every time. Next year the operas will include Carmen and Abduction from the Seraglio, and will close its season with the musical South Pacific. This looks promising for opera... More

The Palladium is owned and operated by St. Pete College. But don't let that scare you. The management there does a great job and it is an awesome vintage concert venue. Seats less than 1,000. Front row of balcony is spectacular. Acoustics are great.

We went to an event in the lower level of the Palladium. We went to buy a drink and they did not take credit cards. There was no ATM in the building. The Palladium was only open noon- 300pm to buy tickets. They need to get into the 21st century.

We went to see the Fab Faux at the Palladium in St. Petersburg and were blown away by the beauty of the building, the craftsmanship and the staff who were very kind and informative. The concert was in the large auditorium which seats about 850 people and provide a very intimate setting for a concert. It's large enough for a... More

We went to the St. Olaf Orchestra Concert recently at The Palladium. The world-renown St. Olaf Orchestra performance was superb, and The Palladium provided a perfect place for their performance. Conveniently located near down town St. Petersburg, The Palladium is an easy walk to the restaurants along St. Pete's waterfront. The old church has a high ceiling and a Romanesque-like... More

Intimate venue with 850 seats showcases emerging and remembered talent. Visitors need to climb two sets of stairs to arrive at the top of the theater and then walk down to somewhat hard seats. Don't sit in the middle because the odd configuration means you'll be far back. Difficult site lines from the far sides. Elevator available but some distance... More
