We booked with Island Boat Adventures to see Dolphins, snorkel and explore Edgmont Island on a four-hour tour. We showed up at the marina along with about 30 other guests. The captain and mate were both friendly. The boat was very nice. Rain and storms threatened that day but it had not yet started. Flippers and masks were given out... More

This is definitely worth the money! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of the island and area. We weren't able to snorkel near the ruins because the water was too choppy but where they did take us was beautiful! I even found a purple arrowhead sand dollar! We will be booking another trip when we bring the kids down in... More

I would do this again in a second! We had a group of ten, ages ranging from 12-46, and a good time was had by all! Captain Hans and first mate John were friendly professional and knowledgeable. St. Pete had been battered with storms recently so that meant the Captain had to change our outing a little bit, but that... More

Our family (wife and 2 boys 9 & 11) had a great time. If you are an seasoned snorkeler don't expect to see too much marine life. The water is a bit murky by Fort Dade. But if you are looking for a fun way to spend a couple hours in the Gulf, swim, see some dolphins and a few... More

Was a great time with well informed Captain and first mate. Wish we could have found better shells or sand dollars, but we had a nice trip. Thank you!

Awesome excursion!! Hans and John were fantastic! Definitely a must do if in FL near St. Pete! We snorkeled in a different area than normal due to strong currents but it was still really great and we were able to look for sand dollars! I'm excited to go back and look at the ruins in the normal area! I would... More

We booked our trip and upon getting in the boat, we asked the captain which side of the boat would get the most sun. The captain said he did not know. Then, we arrived in the middle of no where to snorkel. When my husband asked where the ruins were, the captain said it was too murky there so we... More

I would agree with all the 5 star reviews. Very knowledgeable captain (Hans) and young man that assisted him. They both went the extra mile to tell us about the area and the habitat. We did not see any dolphin on the way out so he drove back through a different area where we did see a few. Also told... More

My family just had this experience and it was amazing! The captain Vinny and mate Jon was so nice and down to earth that it made our trip easy. The price for the adventure was very reasonable. If you ever in the area, I can't stress enough you must do this boat trip. We would love to do it again...
