I thought it was interesting to look up and see an entire ceiling with all the glass objects. I wish it wasn't so small of a place.

A small collection of America's greatest glass artist. Housed in a very nice museum located right near the water.

First, you buy tickets at the shop next door to the muesum. (It really isn't clear that you need to buy them there.) While we waited for our group in the entry of the muesum, at least 5 couples were turned away and told where to buy tickets. How about posting a sign? I found the price of $15.95 per... More

This was an amazing experience. Each room of the exhibition was a marvel of color and creativity. Our docent Regina was excellent and added so much to the experience with her knowledge of both the artist and the pieces displayed.

We really enjoyed touring the Chihuly collection while family was visiting in August. Definitely invest in the glass blowing demonstration as well. It is not at the same place as the Chihuly, but well worth going and watching!

So much colorful inspiration! Made me feel energized after leaving. I didn't know what to expect, but I was completely amazed during this entire visit.

The Chihuly glass pieces in the Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas are stunning, and this display in St. Petersburg, Florida has a much more extensive variety--all spectacular. In connection, you can visit the local glass artists and see them at work.

The collection is beautiful but pretty pricey - almost $20. But the bright spot was that included a tour and observation of their hot shop about a mile away. You get to see the whole process of glass blowing and also shop if you would like. I would recommend this attraction.
