At first I wasn't sure it would be much fun, but that certainly turned around quickly! You can pick up a headset and audio device when you walk in and most of the large works have numbers next to them. As you walk through the galleries, you can hear fun and interesting information about each piece which really make it... More

If you have any interest in art and are in the area do not miss this world class museum. This gallery offers excellent docent led tours. The work is full of very diverse and rich themes that are well exemplified and displayed. There is no better place to spend an afternoon. Be sure to take in the cafe and the... More

Not to be missed,... the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg features a magnificent collection, a beautiful building, impeccable grounds and even a first class cafeteria. Key to a truly enjoyable visit is to have a guide, they are well trained and knowledgable. Plan ahead for at least for a two hour visit and enjoy the museum shop.

I visit the Dali every few years when I'm visiting family in St. Petersburg, this year I visited twice. The first visit I had the pleasure of taking my 12 year old daughter and 10 year old nephew and I loved watched them view the Dali & Picasso exhibit . They really enjoyed the kids audio tour which seemed to... More

The guided tour is the only way to go...you learn so many things that add to the experience of viewing the art. It's the stories and information that add to this experience and make it enjoyable.

Even if you don't think of yourself as a museum type you should go to the Dali! Currently there is an exhibit of Leonardo DaVinci and his influences on Dali which is wonderful! Definitely do the guided tour which is included in your entry price, then do another trip around for a more leisurely viewing. The audio self guide info... More

This museum showcases a vast collection of Dali art, mostly from a single collector. It does not have many of Dali's most famous pieces. Nevertheless, it was a fascinating look into the mind of a great artist and visionary. If you go, I highly recommend you take one of the guided tours. The docents were brimming with factual knowledge and... More

I wasn't a Dali fan before I went in, but I was when we left. You must take one of the guided tours where they explain the hidden pictures within the famous paintings. Absolutely fascinating! There was also an Andy Warhol exhibit (back in March 2014) which was not very elegant but interesting. I highly recommend this place even if... More

Fascinating! I love Dali. 100% recommend the museum. I spend about 5 hours at a museum, carefully exploring every picture. If you love Dali, that is the place to be.
