Nice place to hike and see beautiful birds and gators up close. Bathrooms could stand to be cleaned. No admission with long, wide, well-built wooden walkways throughout. Nice chill park. Bathrooms could stand to be cleaned.

At first, I was skeptical going here. Walk around and possible see some wildlife...eh. We got to see more than I thought. The trails were very well laid out and take you right by several gators. They were so cute and looked at home. We also saw an armadillo and several different birds. The park was very pretty and calm...of... More

This nature park is completely free! Beautifully done walkway, overlook tower with beautiful view. Nature observed alligators with babies, armadillo, turtles, birds. Must see if you're a nature lover!

Spent the morning walking on the boardwalk on the Hammock trail, Sawgrass Trail around the park, saw baby alligators and one very large one near the Sawgrass lake, immature Black-crowned Night Heron, lots of long-nosed Garfish, red shouldered hawk, but sadly no Roseate Spoonbill. Great place for older folks with wheelchairs and walkers or families with strollers. We had a... More

This is a great park to visit when the weather is nice. It's wheelchair friendly as we found out when we took my mother-in-law. The most exciting thing we saw was a family of alligators. Momma and 8 babies. Who knows how many are still surviving and how big they are now. Go check it out!

This is my favorite park in St. Pete. Walking on the boardwalk and looking for the generations of alligators is so much fun. During the summer there is lots of shade, and the people you meet are very nice. Great for bird watchers too.

We decided to do a late morning stroll through this park's boardwalk and it was beautiful! Great because it was mostly shady so not too hot. We only saw a few small gators (plus a very large frog and a HUGE spider, and fish) but it was beautiful walking along and not buggy at all. We didn't tour the entire... More

I love this park and took my children there from baby to teenage years. A small, but nice nature center that has restrooms is beside a covered picnic table section. Further back is more parking and grassy knolls with more private picnic tables. The pathways are boardwalk over the wetlands and also on dirt further back into the many acres... More

Sawgrass is a little park tucked in a residential area. It has a picnic tables and a variety of wildlife if you watch carefully. My favorite part is the boardwalk that winds through the trees to an overlook facing a small lake. I have seen alligators, turtles, birds and fish there. On my last visit I was excited to see...
