We decided to do a late morning stroll through this park's boardwalk and it was beautiful! Great because it was mostly shady so not too hot. We only saw a few small gators (plus a very large frog and a HUGE spider, and fish) but it was beautiful walking along and not buggy at all. We didn't tour the entire... More

I love this park and took my children there from baby to teenage years. A small, but nice nature center that has restrooms is beside a covered picnic table section. Further back is more parking and grassy knolls with more private picnic tables. The pathways are boardwalk over the wetlands and also on dirt further back into the many acres... More

Sawgrass is a little park tucked in a residential area. It has a picnic tables and a variety of wildlife if you watch carefully. My favorite part is the boardwalk that winds through the trees to an overlook facing a small lake. I have seen alligators, turtles, birds and fish there. On my last visit I was excited to see... Great place to see the real Florida. Trails lead you through swampland, dry pinewoods and wild Florida, You can get up close to alligators in the wild. Look but don't touch

I love Sawgrass all year round. You can bring your dog, if it is well behaved. You can run. You can speed walk. You can stroll hand in hand. You can just be. The wildlife is just amazing. I've seen many fish, turtles, alligators, birds, armadillos, spiders, lizards, and evidence of many more creatures. It is fantastic! If you want... More

The tower is the the highlight, of course, and the walking trails are long short and neat. I went with my niece and her son and several others and we all found something interesting about the park. We saw the typical Florida wildlife including several alligators and turtles.

I am terrified of snakes and luckily saw none but I love nature so thoughly. Enjoyed seeing gators, birds and turtles of many kinds in the wild. we did both trails and without hurrying... More

Looking for a wildlife attraction without the admission fee, then this is the place to visit. This nature preserve is tucked behind a neighborhood. If it weren't for the street sign, you would never know the park was back there. Stop in the education center for a taxidermy look at just some of the wildlife you might see during your... More

Was raining on and off but still had lots of fun. Walking on trails, looking at nature, lots of cool pictures. Saw baby alligator. Board trails kept us clean :)
