Great place to see the real Florida. Trails lead you through swampland, dry pinewoods and wild Florida, You can get up close to alligators in the wild. Look but don't touch

I love Sawgrass all year round. You can bring your dog, if it is well behaved. You can run. You can speed walk. You can stroll hand in hand. You can just be. The wildlife is just amazing. I've seen many fish, turtles, alligators, birds, armadillos, spiders, lizards, and evidence of many more creatures. It is fantastic! If you want... More

The tower is the the highlight, of course, and the walking trails are long short and neat. I went with my niece and her son and several others and we all found something interesting about the park. We saw the typical Florida wildlife including several alligators and turtles.

Looking for a wildlife attraction without the admission fee, then this is the place to visit. This nature preserve is tucked behind a neighborhood. If it weren't for the street sign, you would never know the park was back there. Stop in the education center for a taxidermy look at just some of the wildlife you might see during your... More

Was raining on and off but still had lots of fun. Walking on trails, looking at nature, lots of cool pictures. Saw baby alligator. Board trails kept us clean :)

Sawgrass Lake is so peaceful. I love to come here, and relax. I love walking along the boardwalk. You never know what you're going to see. Alligators, Squirrels, Turtles. All kinds of beautiful wildlife. The observation tower is super neat. Beautiful park.

This is an easy park to access (and free). We went in the morning and saw lots of great animals. We saw several exotic birds, large and small gators, a HUGE spider (as big as a man's open palm) with furry tufts on the joints of its legs, strange fish such as gar, snakes, giant land snails, and squirrels. The... More
