Some little gators, nice to find some nature among everything else. Points for improvement, clean some of the trash around the paths, and give tickets to whom throughs the trash.

I've always liked this park but now that I have a dslr I enjoy it even more. The only disappointment is all the trash in the water. There are tons of birds, turtles, tortoises, fish, gators, greenery and fungi to enjoy looking at or photographing.

This is a lovely park, located north of 62nd Avenue just west of I-275. Great trails for hiking, a nice tower one can climb to get a great view of the park, and plenty of avian and reptilian wildlife. It's not unusual to find an alligator warming itself on a sunny bank. There are enough different places to hike that... More

Great place to walk and see lots of nature up-close and personal. The boardwalks are well maintained and there is a tower to climb and get an aerial view of the entire park.

Sawgrass is a small park, and used to be quite lovely for a morning dog walk on the trails, however it has been let go due to lack of funding. The plank walkways are kept in good repair, however you cannot take dogs on them.

We always visit the park for birding and picnics when we are in town. Yesterday, we saw anhinga parents feeding their chicks. Usually, we spot herons, egrets, anhingas, moorhens, pied-billed grebes, little blue herons, great blue herons, ibises, and sometimes roseate spoonbills as well.

Amazing place! We have gone here several times to geocache and just enjoy some time in the woods and see some of the Florida wildlife. It never disappoints and they are continually making improvements. The walkways are shaded and it is a great place to get some exercise out of the sun, but outdoors. There is also a remote area... This is a local park that has a boardwalk winding through different natural FL environments. I've seen alligators, turtles, armadillos , shore birds like egrets. Great for all ages!

This is a nice woodsy park with boardwalks throughout. Saw a cute racoon today as well as an armadillo digging in the dirt for food. Saw many types of birds-- my husband saw a hawk perched in a tree. Also saw a nest near the water area at an observation deck complete with some older baby birds in it and... More
