The pier is in Pass-a-Grille, Florida which is an area of St. Pete Beach. There are many mom and pop restaurants both on the ocean side and intracoastal. It is a very small strip of land so it's literally steps from the beach to the intracoastal where this pier is located. The small shop sells some souvenier items as well... More

Stopped in to rent fishing poles. We know nothing about fishing and needed some guidance. Man working provided no guidance, got more help from the other people fishing on the pier. Rented two poles and got a bag of shrimp. The pier had no railings. Not kid friendly. The kids wanted to look over to see the line in the... More

Convenient bait store if you want to drop a line and try fishing on your own. However, no fresh bait just frozen.

We do have live shrimp every day. Not sure why you thought we only sold frozen bait unless you came on a day when we sold out of live shrimp which sometimes happens late in the afternoon. In the summer months it is more difficult to keep the shrimp alive in the warm water so we don't order more than... More

Caught several small fish from the dock and had a great time fishing here. Later we learned that you should not jerk on the pole when the fish is on. Had we known that we would have caught more fish. Great way to spend a few hours if you like fishing and fishing supplies are right there at the store.... More

My husband fishes adjacent to this little place, so I've been there often. Very nice people, clean restrooms and great proximity to Pass-A-Grille beach. They offer bait, snacks, drinks and even sunset cruises. A great place in this tiny community.

My son and I wanted to try fishing while in Florida but didn't want to go out on an excursion or spend a lot of money. Went down and did the $3 pier rental to fish and rented two poles and got some bait and almost right away we were catching fish off the pier. Fun time without breaking the... More

Great place to watch the pelicans devour fish guts as the fishermen clean their fish. Great place to get the very best sunset cruise.

You can be put on their email list to be updated when fresh fish arrives. We did this and bought it while on vacation. It was very good. The service is friendly and efficient. Also, their fish spread (although pricey) is one on the best that we have ever had.Worth a visit when you're in Passe Grille on St Pete's... More
