My son and I wanted to try fishing while in Florida but didn't want to go out on an excursion or spend a lot of money. Went down and did the $3 pier rental to fish and rented two poles and got some bait and almost right away we were catching fish off the pier. Fun time without breaking the... More

Great place to watch the pelicans devour fish guts as the fishermen clean their fish. Great place to get the very best sunset cruise.

You can be put on their email list to be updated when fresh fish arrives. We did this and bought it while on vacation. It was very good. The service is friendly and efficient. Also, their fish spread (although pricey) is one on the best that we have ever had.Worth a visit when you're in Passe Grille on St Pete's... More

Not only did we have a great time fishing but we were also able to purchase fresh seafood on the other days we were in town and cook back at the condo. They sell there fresh catch and to find Black Grouper was a bonus.

Small pier in Pass-A Grille southern part of St. Pete Beach offers fishing or just sitting and watching the Pelicans. Sunset cruises set sail around the end of the beach and into the inland waterways. Great place to walk the dogs or just wander.

Fishing there is such fun. I caught one, and a pelican grabbed it and tried to swallow it. It took him a half hour to get it down.

He went out on their half day fishing trip twice and really enjoyed the trip. He said Capt Mike and his crew were great. He also bought bait, and a few other things at the Merry Pier. He will definitely be going back when we return.

This pier is also the dock for local fishing excursion boats and the shell island tour boat. We hung out there waiting for the next shell island boat to leave. We saw several people earnestly fishing and a couple of them were having some luck. The little store and bait shop is just that a store and bait shop, nothing... More
