Sally sells sea shells be the sea shore! You can be Sally when you take the Shell Key Shuttle. This is an excellent way to escape the rat race. Spend the day on an uninhabited island looking for shells, swimming off the sandy beaches and just generally letting go. Bring your own beverages and Treats and have some fun! The... More

Beautiful, Quiet, and completely worth the ride out. Found a ton of cool shells to bring home with us. Did I mention beautiful and quiet?

This is a must if you are going to St. Pete's beach. Very nice couple runs the Shell Key Shuttle and for $25 you get the boat ride over to the island, an umbrella, shovel, seashell collecting bags, and snorkeling equipment if you want it. The boat leaves at 10, 12, or 2 and picks up at 12:15, 2:15, or... More

A neat way to travel to a beach with a lot of shells (hence the name). The shuttle was convenient and while a little pricey for a larger group, the staff running it were nice and experienced. Appreciated that parking and the umbrella were included in the fee.

Were prompt and friendly. Plenty of room on the boat and they provided umbrellas and chairs if you wanted them.

This island is really cute. We saw an ad for this place in a brochure and listed snorkeling! That was really the main point to our trip here even if we just saw shells. The snorkeling was not great the day we went but the business has no doing in controlling any of that. Lots and lots of shells a... More

We had a great time taking the Shell Key Shuttle over to Shell Key this week. The ride was only a few minutes from dock to shore and the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely take this shuttle again.

I have taken the boat shuttle to the island 3 times and its a lot of fun. The kids have fun looking for shells. They provide free shelling bags, snorkel gear and umbrellas to use on the beach.

We wanted to fill our day doing something different and we chose to do snorkeling. The island is huge and literally filled with shells. Everywhere you walk so wear water shoes! Tons of sand dollars too. While we were in the water stingrays and sea cows swam by. It was an awesome experience.

Quick boat ride to Shell Key. My son loves shelling and Shell Key did not disappoint. We arrived at the dock 1 hour prior. Took a stroll around Pas-A-Grille for 30 minutes, had Ice Cream then paid for our fares and boarded the Shell Key Shuttle. Comfortable ride over to Shell Key, they give you bags to collect shells that... More
