I had a hotel room in St. Pete beach, about 3 miles away and decided to take a day trip down to Pass-a-grill. It had been 25 years since I had been to Pass-a-grill. I was able to get a ride using the "Free Beach Ride", a taxi service that operates on tips only. My hotel recommended this transportation over... More

I am in love with Pass A Grill it is so Beautiful. Bay for fishing and walking the sidewalk on one side and on the other the White Soft Sandy Beaches with a big beautiful beach. Lots of Jelly fish and a few shells. The Pier Was Beautiful with Sunsets that were perfection.

While a very small town on the bay, it was a most enjoyable stroll along the main street (8th Avenue). My wife and I were there last week, and enjoyed shopping in the unique stores in town, as well as a frozen drink in the outdoor deck on top of the famous Hurricane Restaurant. The only drawback was the metered... More

Nothing beats breakfast on the beach at Pass-a-grille. It's as easy to walk the 1 1/2 miles along the beach from the Don Cesar as to park in the annoying metered parking bays. Not cheap (2 breakfasts and 2 coffees for $20) but glorious in the sunshine, looking back down the coat to the Don.

Charming small-town feel on this peninsula between the gulf and the intracoastal. The beach is well groomed and the stores are better quality than typical souvenir shops. Plenty of open air restaurants and many places are dog friendly. Of all the places I've visited in Florida, this is the only area I would consider living full time.

Another Florida best beach and we have plenty here. This beach is easy to park and has a wide walking area and the water is on most days very clear. A better choice for some than St Pete beach. Quieter, and easy access. This is a great spot john

I really loved the time I spent here during a recent long weekend at St. Pete Beach - great area to explore and a gorgeous beach with white sand. A little quieter than the main Gulf Blvd drag and clearly very popular especially with people walking on the beach and fishing.

Great for walking and relaxing. Away from the high rises of the main St. Pete Beach, so it has more of a "town" feel.

I find Pass-a-Grille very captivating . I don't even know what is so magnetic about this little town located at the southern end of St. Pete Beach. There's that special serene atmosphere about it and a feeling that you are at the end of land, -- and you really are! -- on one side is the huge mix-colored Gulf of... More
