Nice beach at the southern most tip of St Pete. Very historic, not as crowded as Clearwater. Plenty of parking, places to each and nice warm waters. The beach it's self is not to wide due to erosion but still worth the visit.

We love the grouper tacos at the Hurricane. The view from the rooftop bar is awesome at sunset! Our favorite place for dinner is Sea Critters. The fish is always fresh and delicious. We have visited with local fishermen who come in with a catch and will give half to the restaurant in exchange for half prepared with a dinner.... More

Pass-a-Grille beach is a family-friendly Gulf beach that the "locals" go to. Located on the extreme south end of St. Petersburg Beach, there are no giant hotel complexes clogging up the beach, just sparkling white sand and clear green Gulf waters. Pull-up public parking right beside the dunes (don't climb over them, use the boardwalks!) Fun in the sun, and... More

Why? Having been to dozens, yes, dozens of FL beaches over the years, Pass-a-grille has been one of our favorite haunts for some time. Compared to say, Treasure island, which is just down the road from Pass-a-Grille, the "depth" of the beach at Pass-a-Grille is very accommodating in that the walk to the waters edge is an easy walk. Treasure... More

We visited on a Monday in June, and the beach was sparsely populated. There was plenty of inexpensive parking on the street in front of the beach and plenty of beach to park our bodies on. The beach was clean, the water clear and warm, and we spent a thoroughly delightful-- and too short-- several hours. We all wished we... More

It's easy to miss Pass-a-Grille if you aren't looking for it. But it's been there for decades, before the Don CeSar was built in the 1920s. It is located at the farthest point of the Gulf beaches, south of the Don and St. Pete Beach, the end of the road. It's an art community that offers a lot for everybody...beach,... More

This is a wonderful quaint charming area. Quiet and nice but also close enough to livelier areas on St Pete Beach. One of our favorite beaches ever.

This is my #3 favorite, and my wife's #5 (she says waters were too choppy), of our 5 beach tour along the Florida SW Gulf Coast. I like the solitude. You can stroll for miles along the white sand shores. Beaches Visited (ranking by Dr. Beach): -Siesta Key Beach (#2) -Fort DeSoto Park (#4) -Caladesi Island State Park (#12) -Pass-A-Grille... More

a great place to get off the beatin' track. More quiet and peaceful with the same beautiful beach, sunsets and outstanding dining and spirit houses!

Love this beach! Metered parking, restrooms, clean beach, perfect water , and a snack bar. Feels like you are in the carribean! Walk down to the jetty toward the end of the beach and watch the fishermen for extra fun. Great for photos! Very relaxed atmosphere...
