Different times of the year yield different number of people at this beach. Any time of the year is a great time to walk the shore line. It is peaceful, accessible, food and beverage are both within walking distance. Parking is first come first served basis. Shuttle bus runs often.

Such a pretty beach! So many bars and restaurants there is something for everyone. Very chilly on our visit but still beautiful! White powdery sand!

Gulf side is nice to go to if you just want to relax. Water is cold in January but can't complain about sunbathing when you're from up north. Great place to play in the sand with the kids. Decent bathrooms by parking lot. You do have to pay for parking by the hour.

Nowhere near as crowded as Clearwater Beach and not as sleepy as Redington Beach. A happy medium! The best sand...soft not chunky. And white!

We spent the afternoon walking Saint Pete Beach from the Southern tip. This stretch is largely single family residential as opposed totally commercial with restaurants, hotels and large apartment or condo buildings. There's a strip of dunes beyond the beach, an area that has been respected by the residents and visitors to the area. As a result, the area is... More
