we love the views at St Pete beach. The sand is white and soft. Great sunsets. There are several resorts on the beach, our favorite is Tradewinds. You can paddle board, jet ski, parasail and jet pak!

Lesser known and thus less populated than many other beaches, St.Pete Beach is clean and quiet with miles of soft white sand along the gulf. Several nearby hotels have tiki bars where you can grab a nice pina collards as you stroll. Must stay hydrated. Also hurts renting water sports equipment and covered chaise lounges are available..beautiful place from where... More

Everything was perfect. Seven days of sunshine and 80 degree ocean water. Sunsets were beautiful. Beautiful gardens and landscape.

It doesn't feel highly developed, that is partially good because it keeps it relaxing, quiet and clean, but if you are looking for party at the beach, this is not the place. Feels more a locals beach than for visitors.

What a beautiful beach. The water is clean, low waves. During the week it was quiet but the weekend really picked up.

I'm not normally a Gulf side person, but this beach has a lot to offer. You can walk miles, and not see the same thing twice. There's a dip just off the beach that the little ones can safely play in, and then a sand bar about 10 to 15 yards out from the beach that the more adventurous types... More

Love this beach! Park near the restrooms and parking is cheap and right on the beach. I spend all day there when I go, its so relaxing and my son is safe. Its not overly crowded and people are so nice. You can tell which are locals and they are very friendly. My son had a blast and I got... More

St. petersburg beach was full of sea shells. The sand was super powdery, felt almost like ashes. We found beautiful sea shells and one even had a crab in it. There were waves but not super strong. The sunset was beautiful which we truly enjoyed.

It's always very laid back and easy going in St.Pete's. The restaurant scene is not what it used to be 30 years ago on the strip but it is slowly coming back. Try the Rum Fish restaurant to check out the aquarium!
