Have been wanting to do this my whole life. Finally got the chance with Britt and NB windsurfing. It was a great experience. Other than Britt being an incredibly patient instructor, windsurfing is incredible. Too much fun. I dont understand why more people dont do it. I think I found my new hobby. Will definitely visit NB windsurfing again. Its... More

Truly this is harder than what it looks but the instructor was excellent! Within 2 hours the three of us were up and windsurfing. Just make sure if you have a group that you call in advance. Britt is a very patient instructor. Well worth the cost!

We had two kids (12 and 21) who had a blast learning how to windsurf. The instructor was excellent and extremely patient and took the time to explain how the whole thing works step-by-step, both on land and in the water. Definitely worth the cost and then some! We moms couldn't stop watching!

I rented a board package from North Beach today and would recommend this shop to anyone. First I stopped at the shop and was directed by Karen to where the gear trailer was parked. Britt had a decent selection of gear in the trailer, but I'd suggest calling ahead for rentals to make sure what you want will be at... More

3-hour lesson on wind surfing. We stood on the shoreline for a half hour on a board working on how to stand, how to hold the sail, how to tack (turn around in the wind while on the board), and learning basic balance skills. Then I took the board out on the water, stood up, fell once, and then pulled... More

I've windsurfed for 21 years and happened to be in Tampa for vacation when the wind picked up. This was the perfect place for me to rent decent gear and get out on the water. They have a van stocked with the gear that will meet you there, all I had to do is bring a wetsuit (they rent those... More

They give lessons just north of Tierra Verde Island on State Hwy 679. The spot is awesome for learning to windsurf. The water stays waist deep for about 2000 ft out into the bay, so there is no worrying about falling into deep water and not being able to get back on the board. They do a great job teaching... More
