My husband and I have traveled to SGI for the last 13 or so years and his family has vacationed there since the 70s and they had never been up the Apalach River. We hired a guide through Journeys to take us on the trip and it was awesome. It was a nice change up from a day at the... More

We used Journeys to rent a kayak upon arrival on St. George Island. We opted to pick the kayak up ourselves as opposed to utilizing the free delivery service. Checking in and getting the kayak was quick and efficient. I was allowed to pick the kayak I preferred and it was loaded on my truck for me. Later in the... More

We booked Captain Paul with Journeys tours for a 3 hr. tour for shelling, dolphin sightings and some fishing. It was fantastic from the booking experience with Ashley Friend to a perfect trip with a 3 and a 5 yr. old that never got bored. Captain Paul was great with the little ones and they learned so much about dolphins,... More

We rented a boat for 2 days and golf carts for 3 days and everything was wonderful. Capt Russ and his staff are very professional and accomodating. I will always recommend his company and do business with them again. Thanks for everything Ed from Lagrange Ga.

Took a 2+ hour boat ride with three generations of family members during the week of 4th of July. Captain Russ has been on St. George Island for 10+ years, and knows the water, the wildlife, and plenty of local history. Our kids and parents had a great time too. Seeing the dolphin ride in the wake of the boat... More

When I first call Journey’s to set something up, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I explained that we had a 6 year old and a 10 month old so we needed something to keep everyone happy. They had great suggestions and set us up with Captain Paul and he was fantastic! We went out on a boat... More

If you don't have a boat, you need to check out Journey. We took a two hour cruise with Captain Russ. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about wildlife and the Island. We went shelling, saw the sunset and a few dolphins. Our kids loved the chance to be out on a boat!

Many thanks to Captain Jeremy for an amazing tour! We spent 2 hours in the water and got to see countless dolphin, 2 sea turtles, and even a HUGE manta ray (wingspan around 5.5-6.5 feet!). Jeremy knew just where to find the dolphins and how to get them to play in the wake of the boat! We had an amazing... More

I know I have posted before about Captain Jeremy, but that was about an adult fishing trip, this is different! I ventured to take my four children out to watch dolphins in their real habitat, and my children had "one of the best days ever," per my eldest child. I have a 10, 7 and 4 1/2 year old twins... We used Journeys 6 years ago when we were on the island, and the Wakulla Springs trip was recommended, but we didn't have an opportunity to go. We did visit the park, though, which only reinforced our desire to go back for this trip. This trip we rented stand up paddle boards and kayaks for 3 days as well. When... More
