Rode some scooter through the park and walked the beach. Beautiful. Great place to get pictures without any buildings in the background.

This park is great! We found all sorts of shells and sand dollars while walking along the beach. The park was nice and quiet - definitely worth the $6 admission! I will stop by every time I am on vacation. I highly recommend for young and old alike!

St. George Island never disappoints, no matter what, and this park is truly the best! This was my first time back to the island since I was a kid, and the state park is just the same as I remember. We managed to get a campsite without a reservation (NOT recommended since this place is popular, but we had an... More

Beautiful white sand beaches, no crowd, dolphins playing in the surf...what is there not to like? The $6 admission fee is a steal. Clean facilities, plenty of shelter houses for picnics. We found shark's teeth and full Sand Dollars on the beech. Wish we had more time to explore.

An awesome state park. We found clean restrooms and a gorgeous beach. We were there in March so it wasn't too crowded yet. A little cool out but the wonderful Florida sun helped out. Got some great shells to take home as souvenirs.

Peaceful, beautiful dunes, great quiet place to go walk on the beach, This is one of the few places you can still enjoy the pristine beaches of Florida in a quiet, peaceful place.

All these glowing reviews are spot on, you'll love it. Here are some things that may be helpful: 1. The camp showers are CLEAN. So if you've been trying to talk someone into camping and they're afraid of not being able to take a comfortable shower, put them at ease. This would be a great first place to take someone... More

Lots of quiet, deserted sandy beaches. You could walk for a long ways and not run into too many people. Great beach facilities including shelters and picnic areas. Good shelling along the beach. There is camping available. Trails are in several locations. Good birding and biking.

We came here for the first time and it was marvelous. A long ride to get here but worth every minute. The sand was white and soft and there were sea shells all over it. We saw Jelly fish swimming around and warm water for us. Coming from the northeast beaches that average around 70 degrees in full summer, this... More

This is the best kept secret in the Westen Hemisphere. The beach is soft white river sand that you can press between your toes. The sound of small waves curling onto the beach puts your mind at ease. Fishing in the surf during the year you catch pompano, whiting, bluefish, red fish, spotted sea trout, black drum, sail catfish, pin... More
