Lovely beaches in St Augustine, with crystal clear sea, and beautiful dunes. I could spend years on the beaches of St Augustine. Will be back !

Not crowded in December with free parking at the pier. Clean beach. Near the State Park. Dogs are allowed on the beach until you reach the State Park sign.

St. Augustine Beach is a quiet, pleasant place that may remind one of the “away from it all” leisure escape so many dream about. About 7 miles south of St. Augustine city & across the classic Bridge of Lions, the municipality St Augustine Beach is on Anastasia Island, thus separated from the mainland by the tidal, brackish water Matanzas River.... I love coming here to look for shark teeth , the biggest & oldest one I found recently last month was a megaladon shark tooth. Its about 2000+yrs. old. Its huge! The beach is very clean & all the locals are very nice & helpful.

I have been to many of the beaches in NE Florida and feel that St. Augustine beaches are the best around. Clean, great waves, great body surfing. Great for young and old. It is a good beach to take people who are visiting North East Florida

Beautiful white sand beach. Big waves and several surfers to watch. Cons: tons of jellyfish everywhere... In the water and all over the beach. Also, there's a charge to walk the pier. I found that odd. But a beautiful area

Loved the wide-open beaches with miles of sand; a winter visit ensured few people around and lots of shells. Pets allowed on beaches, so watch out for the pet-owners who don't clean up after their furry friends.

If you are looking for a place to visit in historic Florida. Consider st Augustine. Nice quaint town with enough to spend a full day walking around. Very hot and humid in the summer time
