We visited on a Saturday night, when there was an Irish storyteller and singer, and it was so much fun. All of our group, from the grandparents to the 7 year old, had a great time. Just over the Bridge of Lions on the right from the Old City sits McKnight's Little Ireland - owners Roy and Julie. Onsite parking there and tables outside weather permitting. We are big fans of the downtown McKnights and were delighted when this opened even closer to home. Great atmosphere and killer entertainment. Great chicken cakes, trout, pasta dishes and our regular favorites, the Shepards Pie and pork loin! Best meat dish anyhere in the city. Fresh seafood and shrimp. An interesting and original menu with fascinating tastes. The Scotch Eggs are served with an Irish flair in the manner of a fresh bruschetta. The homemade rosemary bread is memorable. The main courses each have distinct seasonings and flavors. Very Irish but with a fusion creativity. Excellent. Moderate pricing. more
