I hesitate to write this review, as I absolutely LOVE this campground, & would rather it did not get more visitors. HOWEVER, this is a very clean, nicely kept campground, where amazingly enough, I have never had problems with neighbors or noise problems. I do not like tourist towns & have to find out of the way places to find... More

We have camped here several times and have never been disappointed. Some of the sites are smaller but they are very good about advising of any issues prior too booking. Facilities are well maintained, the beach is beautiful.

Beautiful state park and great place to camp. A lot of campsites have tree canopy's to help with heat and there are bath houses accessible to all campsites. The beach is great. Wide and sandy with a large parking lot....and a snack bar and bathroom in parking lot area. There are a few little walking trails scattered here and there... More

Kayaking and fishing... It's sorta buggie... like everything in Florida...but it's nice and not far from down town.

Our ghost tour stopped here. It's an open area with a swing set and little else. There are lots of low branches, so if you stop there at night, be careful not to hit your head.

The campsite was good. St Augustine's was good. Its not far enough south. I recommend moving for the south.

I was very disappointed. There is no educational value at this park. There is only 1 Vista overlooking the marsh otherwise the only road is 2nd growth vegetation. The campsites are hacked out of the brush and don't offer a breath of air. The ranger at the booth was unable to identify the most common of shorebirds. A very long... More

Stayed five days, well kept and campsites are nicely secluded. Beaches are clean and wide open. Campgrounds have there own beach entrance. It is a little ways awway from the campsite. So, you need to drive or bike ride there. about 1/2 to 1 mile depending on your site. Campsite is close to anything in St Augustine.

We didn't camp here, but we checked out the camp sites and they looked great, a little small but well shaded. The beach was beautiful and clean and empty. Much quieter than the public beach. We even saw a Hawk fly near us.
