Beautiful campground. Large oaks shade the campsite and it is a quick walk to the beach. Bathroom facilities are close to campsites and very clean. Nice little shop sells camping supplies and snacks. We went for a couple of days to camp at this park and we had a really good time. The beach is nice and clean and even though it was a little cold when we were there (it was in March 2007) we still had a lot of fun... We didn´t have a chance to see much of the park... more

I visited when Hurricane Noel was traveling up the Atlantic. While the beaches are worth visiting while you are in St. Augustine, I’m afraid to say the secret is out about this place. The place looked a little worn. Travel to Cape Canaveral Seashore and you’ll be able to tell a huge difference. more

BEWARE!!!! Anastasia Island State Park has both beutiful beaches, nice camp sites, conveniant location to downtown St. Augustine; but if you expect the rangers at the park to put visitor safety as a top concern beware. A great park! Beautiful white beaches. You can't drive on the beach so it is a long walk from the parking area to the beach. But it is a beautiful place and there is plenty of parking. more

The beach here at this beautiful park will remind you of OLD FLORIDA> No hotels or buildings in sight. No cars on the beach (park convenient to the beach and showers and walk to the beach) make for nice and easy play for the kids. Nice little snack shop sells suntan lotion and supplies (reasonable!).
