Nice to get away from the tourist attractions and enjoy nature, kayak on the bayside or walk on the beach, where you can find shells and enjoy bird watching

We camped for one night. The campsites were darn near perfect with great large clear flat areas that made setting up our tent a breeze. We asked staff to recommend a site that would be large enough for our family - sized tent and also close to bathrooms (toddlers can't wait!) We were very happy with our site (#14 btw)... More

It is a great tropical paradise and a must do if you want to have some secluded time from the historical downtown of Saint Augustine. Our group of friends enjoyed half a day of camping and then rest half of day kayaking and paddle boarding in the water. Great spot for fishing and watching dolphins !!!

We camped at the park. The site was sandy and private. The site was surrounded by live oaks covered in resurrection ferns, air plants and Spanish moss, cabbage palms, and palm trees. Our site had water and electricity, the water pressure is great and the electricity was a 30 amp service. There are trails throughout the area that lead to... More

We had a great time riding on our bicycles around the trails and also the beaches of Anastasia Park. Most of it was too cold and windy that day for many visitors, but we got to see several interesting birds and we had hours of pleasant walks and riding around. Looks like it would be great in swimming season.

This state park is a gem. One of the few undeveloped beaches left on Florida's east coast. The campsites are situated among live oaks with spanish moss dripping from them. Over the dunes and a short walk or drive down the road is 4 miles worth of beach with no development. It might get kind of crowded near the beach... More

We visited but did not stay. We love camping and were able to tour the campgrounds. They were clean and well-maintained. We are excited about coming back to camp. The beach is awesome as well!

We camp here often. Camp sites are clean and spacious. Bath houses are also well-kept, and in central proximity to most campsites in a loop. Beach access could be closer. Need to book 11 months in advance to get a summer site.

I went with high hopes of seeing beautiful sand castles and didn't see a single one beautiful or otherwise. We were expecting an organized event where the competitors would all be in the same area of the beach. We parked where we were told by park officials the competition would be taking place and there was nothing to see. It... More
