Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach. Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

This is an excellent campground due to not only its beachfront amenities, kayak/canoe rentals and picnic pavilions but the cleanliness of the campground as well. Bring your bicycles because you can bike to the beach from your campsite. This campground is located in close proximity to St. Augustine which provides an excellent selection of restaurants and shops. Do not forget... More

Nice quiet beach very well kept. They have a nice gift shop and bathroom facilities on the premises. Although we were there for the beach there is also camp facilities and boat rentals avail.Downside is you have to pay to get in and gift shop is expensive.

This looks like a great park to see. As we rode up to the gate station there was a $8.00 fee just to ride through the park. We thought that was way too high, so we didn't go in.

Anastasia is one of my favorite places in the USA. One of the biggest reasons I moved to Florida was for this park. For just a few bucks you can park your car, walk across the parking lot and be at a totally empty beach. The beach is enormously wide at low tide. Birds and crabs greatly outnumber people. Even... Not crowded. Reasonable price. Can park and not drive on the beach. There are other activities to do and not have to worry about traffic.

Anastasia state park is a wonderful place. Would love to come back and spend more than one day here. Nice facilities. It is a long walk from the beach entrance to the actual beach but it is a nice place. Plus, $8 for the day for a family of four! Definitely will come back for a weekend and will post... More

A lot to do boating, paddle boarding, fishing beach but I have to say the walk from the parking lot to beach was very uncomfortable. The walk was long to get on the beach and even with shoes on I got blisters from the sand being so Hot. They need an actual boardwalk to get you to the beach

It's been a while since I've been here, so happy to see that they've upgraded to getting good outdoor showers & a place to buy bait & food. Beach is beautiful- white sand with NO driving on it! Boardwalks from parking area to beach. Is a bit of a walk though. This is a big park with a long stretch... More

Beautiful park with great beaches, scenery and plenty of open space. Even with a packed Sunday parking lot, plenty of room for families and couples. Can even rent a kayak by the hour.
