We drove southeast of St. Augustine to this wonderful sand beach. We found easy parking and restrooms. It was a short way to the sand beach backed by sand dunes. After the beach, we checked out the camping sites. They had a number of nice ones with utilities. More

I think Anastasia State Park is a hidden treasure! The sand won't leave your feet and hands black like Saint Augustine Beach does! Anastasia State Park is absolutely gorgeous and worth the entry fee of a couple dollars. It's very peaceful and serene. Great weather in January 2012. We stayed in the campground, nice wooded sites. Kayaked in the inlet area. Quick drive into St. Augustine. Lunched at the Columbia (great food and atmosphere). Access to the beautiful, white sandy beach. More

We traveled from Kitty Hawk NC to Florida for our boys Spring Break. They are 8 and 11. The campground is beautiful and well kept. The beaches are gorgeous. However, don't expect to walk to the beach, if you plan to have anything other than a towel that you can ride your bike with, you will need to get in... More

Has been our family's favorite camp ground for years. The beach is in walking distance from your campsite. The camp sites are in a heavily wooded area with plenty of trails and wildlife. Each site has electricity and water. Bathrooms are a short walk. Great place for kids. More

Nice place and great time, the beach is sensational (wide, flat, white sand), it is hard pace so you can ride the 4.5 miles to the point of the island at low tide (awesome). This beach and State Park area are lovely - well maintained and really a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. Segways available for touring on the beach, lots of restaurants along the way, and the pier is incredible! More
