The dunes are something growing up in Florida you just didn't see and it is just spectacular. We packed a lobster salad with a lovely bottle of wine for our picnic , then walked the beach. Great afternoon.

We visited April 2015 for 2 nights. Great large camping sites, and washroom/shower facilities. We were at Coquina campground, which was closest to the beach/camp store. The beach is huge ,clean and amazing. We would recommend this campground for sure and plan to be back in 2016, only for 5-6 nights this time. Wifi is available near the camp store... More

This state park is very close to various hotels and restaurants along A1a in St. Augustine beach. It's reasonable for recreation, but birding (our primary interest) was not very good.

This park has lots to offer from the nature perspective, from stand up paddle to kayaks. The beach is wide and offers plenty of space for laying out. The waves are usually pretty good for surfing. This one of Florida's great state parks with many more to see all the way down to the Dry Tortugas.

It was raining the day we went, but it was still beautiful! The trail was magical in the rain. Will come back when it's better weather hopefully some day!

The beach at Anastasia State Park is clean and a wonderful place to visit with children. It is definitely family-oriented in that you don't hear the sounds of a commercial beach (loud music, vendors, scooters, etc.) My grandkids had a fun time collecting shells, running into the surf and along the water's edge. The prices at the concession area are... More

Great beach. Slow down and enjoy and afternoon or two. The day we visited was a perfect beach day. You are sure to enjoy Anastasia State Park.

We made two trips to the beach here, and our two boys absolutely loved it. Cost of $8 to get in the park wasn't bad, but what it did was give us access to a much less commercialized and less populated beach where the kids could play in the sand, hunt for shells, and wade out into the ocean without...
