Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.

At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach.

Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

I reserved multiple sites for our extended family. The rangers are wonderful, helpful and went out of their way to help. The sites are semi private, tucked into the palmetto bushes. It offers great picnic areas, a camp store, a classic beach cafe and beach access. Only problem we ran into was the monsoon rain that flooded our campsite the... More

A wonderful place to walk along the beach and observe the birds. Unfortunately there is some rubbish washed up. A suggestion - why not ask visitors if they'd be happy to pick up litter, I'd have happily done that to keep the area pristine. It's stuff washed up from the seà, not dropped by visitors. But don't let this put... More

We have camped here twice in the past three years. It is one of our favorite places to camp. Close to the beach, boating, and old St. Augustine. Great camp sites for all types of campers.

We stayed here for 4 nights and were amazed at the sheer beauty of this campground. This is one of the prettiest campgrounds I've ever been to and I've camped all over the country! We camped in a tent on site #12. I read lots of reviews about the banana spiders and aggressive raccoons and never even saw a spider... More

I think we had to pay a few bucks to get in but it was worth it. Beautiful park, lovely beach, nice restrooms and changing rooms. We brought a lunch (purchased at a nearby restaurant) and ate it at some picnic tables near their small restaurant. Not sure what they served (I saw nachos). Somewhere I read that you can... More

Whenever I visit St. Augustine, this is where I like to go to the beach at. The beach is lovely: clean and normally pretty quiet. A great place to swim or just walk along the shore.

Anastasia State Park has a beautiful beach and sand dunes. The beach was very deserted and quiet on a mid week afternoon. Then the kids on a school field trip showed up and livened the beach up with their excitement. Bring plenty of sunscreen and a beach umbrella so you don't regret your day at the beach the next day.... More
