A very long 1.5 +. Mile limestone road through woods and palmetto palms until you get to the camp sites . I believe approximately30 sites with water and electric(30 amp). Well maintained limestone gravel sites with a picnic table and a fire ring, reasonably private sites. The bathroom shower house could use some TLC, But it is "camping". A boat ramp... More

Admittedly we must have been there during a heat wave. It was dusty, hot, and the bugs were horrible. The comfort station was not air conditioned, the men's side did not even have fans. There is no laundry facility, no beach area or swimming pool. limited spaces with concrete pads and most of them were 1 night handicap spaces. The... More

Yes, it was as beautiful as expected, so Florida. We rented campground space for a week with friends and enjoyed the quiet solitude of the forest, though it really was buzzing with birds, deer, raccoons creeping up to the dining tent, and biting insects. The bathroom facilities were well kept though it needs an upgrade to the showers, no AC.... More

True Florida. Very quiet. Loads of wildlife. We saw 27 deer in the 3 days we were here. Great fishing. Close enough to beaches and downtown but far enough away to avoid the noise.

If you love camping this a beautiful park. Fishing pier with lots of gators to see at night. Pellicer creek entrance one of the top canoe runs in Florida. You are not a real tent camper if you don't love this park.

My wife and I stayed here two nights in our brand new travel trailer. This was our shakedown trip so to speak and only about twelve miles from our home. The park is way back in the woods. The campsites are well shaded. There is a nice boat ramp, fishing pier, canoe rentals and the Rangers (Todd) are very friendly.... More

We enjoyed our camping spot at Faver Dykes. Its now our 2nd favorite Florida State Park. Even though, the ticks were in abundance, we are campers; we expect them. We deal with it and still manage to have a wonderful time. Our campsite was large and private with a little space between each site. The nature trail was not long... More

This isn't a highly used campground but it very convenient location a short distance from the highway. There aren't many campsites, but all are heavily wooded and private. I believe the sites closest to the ranger station have the best cell and TV signals. I was toward the back and often had no cell service (Verizon). Staff was very nice.... More

I read the reviews about the ticks -- in warm weather and summer ticks are lots of FL places. We've camped here probably 4 times; never have seen a tick but we generally camp between October and May. Also, someone said something about a utility sink - again you're camping. That does not seem to be a big deal. This... More

This campsite is great, nice and big. Each site is Surrounded by trees giving privacy etc. The only issue is the showers, they're fairly clean but had no water pressure and were freezing cold
