Family friendly, interesting and one of the best tours I've been on in St. Augustine. Our tour guide Deputy Clyde was great. The price didn't break the bank and it didn't last so long that the kids got bored. Be sure to put The Old Jail on your 'things to do' list!

Deputy Clyde was very informative and entertaining during our tour of the jail. Its a very pretty building from the outside and the jail itself is a little creepy. Family friendly and worth the minimal cover it costs to walk through. Love the stripped jail clothes on the inmates that walk you through!

I've toured a lot of jails and this was the best ever! Interesting and different. Our guide "Sadie May" was the best and made you feel like you were living there. It was from the perspective of your being incarcerated. One of the best tours in St Augustine! Do not miss.

Visited the old jail in St Augustine this afternoon and can honestly say that it proved to be a wonderful family orientated tourist attraction, well worth the $8 or so cover fee... Deputy Clyde - a tour guide (who in spite of his informal demeanour) was very informitive in presenting the historical aspects of this attraction... Looking to get a... More

Is it a Pink Victorian House, a boarding House, a Hotel ..... No its a jail, but folks use to walk up to the door & ask to rent a room for the night. The jail was constructed by the same man that built Alcatraz in California. Very interesting.

Our narrator (Sadie) was very good. The narrators dress in sheriff and prison costumes and paint the story of the old St. Augustine jail. The venue is not handicap accessible since there are stairs and no elevator to tour the upper rooms of the jail. There is a old fashion store across from the jail to purchase trinkets and a... More

My sisters and I took this trip together. We all enjoyed the visit to the old jail. The tour leader was fun, funny and very informative.

My family and I took the tour of the old jail and learned all about the facility, it's inmates and the staff who ran it. Would definitely recommend the tour.

Our trustee, Ungree, gave us a very interesting (and at times sad) tour of the Old Jail. Great photo ops before or after the tour. Near the end of the tour, you are given an opportunity to "escape" if you don't want to climb the stairs to the upstairs, men's, jail. I took that out, having aching knees and having... More

Very interesting in the way they treated prisoners in the early day of the city. The guides are very knowledgeable and make it interesting with the different facts. Worth seeing again
