One of the items we added to our Old Town Trolley package was a visit to the Authentic Old Jail. Our guide was an inmate who happens to share her birthday that day with me. As a special gift she saw to it that I had an opportunity to inspect an outdoor prisoner cage, from the inside. Her tour was... More

Take the Ghost and Graveyards trolley tour to get the full effect of this hot spot. Such an interesting piece of history. I can't imagine being that Sheriff and his family living along side of those hardened criminals. Those rooms and cells were probably packed full. Living in the hardest conditions with no special treatment.

A Very popular place to visit, so get here early, before 10am if you can. You will actually see the sheriff brushing outside the Jail, and a few inmates making their way to Jail ! We did not take this tour as we only had time for one of the other tours. There were only a few people for the... More

Our tour guide, Deputy Jim, did a great job! He certainly looked the part and gave us lots of interesting information about Sheriff Charlie and the inmates of the day. Not to be missed!

Bucky our tour guide was interesting and fun and the Old Jail is in a small plaza so you can visit the Old Store museum at the same time.

Very fun stop on our trip to St. Augustine. I'd suggest this as a must see when up in the area. Needed more time to do all of old town and do the trolly tour.

This is a guided tour - which is very animated. I wish it wasn't so expensive for a 15 minute tour. It should be opened for people to visit at their own leisure. Our guide was ok. Just was boring and not worth the price. I could have put the money towards something else for our trip to the area.

I've been going to St Augustine on various trips since I was 15 years old and I always make sure to stop by the old jail for a tour. It's one of my favorites! I love how long the tour is and the guide is always in great character which makes it more fun. This is definitely a must for... More

Deputy Jim made the tour fun and interesting. Tour was short and made you wonder how prisoners survived.
