You will be guided through the Jail by one of the deputies of the jail. You will hear the history of the jail, the Sheriff and the prisoners. Enter the jail block and experience first hand what it was like. Great tour, glad we did not miss this one.

Don't miss this pretty pink faced "house" tour! Our tour guide led us through the times of long ago. Imagine yourself locked away in this Jail! You will be led on a fun and informational and sometimes shocking tour of what went on in this jail many many years ago......

This was an interesting tour. The daytime tour was factual and educational. It was especially enlightening to learn how prisoners became income-sources for the sheriff.

Visiting the jail was very interesting. The tour guide was very informative and the story actually put you there. You almost felt bad for the prisoners living under those horrific conditions. It definitely made you appreciate today.

Our tour of the jail led by Bucky was a highlight of our day in St Augustine. He provided lots of history with a humorous twist that kept the all adult group interested. Kept the pace of the tour moving but not so fast that it was difficult to keep up. Most enjoyable tour.

We bought tickets for the trolley tour and the old jail is the beginning of the tour and included free of charge. Our guide for the tour was a tall brute of a guy with a missing front tooth. He does an amazing job and really fits the role. You could tell he likes his job! The tour is educational... More

Enjoyed the tour with historian Buck; high caliber story telling and acting; we would advise any visitor to St Augustine to take the trolley and see some of the museums. Flagler was an incredible influence in the area; laid back quiet city with a good feel

We drove up to St Augustine after getting off our cruise in Ft Lauderdale. The main reason is I remember going there as a 9 year old in the early 60's. The two places I remembered was the Old Jail and Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth. They are both still there today. My husband wasn't sure about visiting St... More
