It was interesting and creepy all at the same time. Yes...it's a tourist attraction but we still had to visit. I am a biased skeptical...I believe when I want...however, I began to get a migraine the moment I walked through those doors and spent the next 30 minutes while I was there with my head wanting to pop and I... The old jail house is a victorian style jail house made to look like a home, so the city would not be bothered by the jail. I must say, this was one of my favorite things we visited. The information gained was very interested-I learned a lot. Plus it was interesting touring an old jail and learning about the cruel... More

Our tour guide Jenny did a fabulous job of taking us back to what it was like in 1908. She asked great questions to include the audience and great humor to the story. I learned a lot from this tour and would recommend going there for sure.

This attraction was quite informative. We learned a lot about the jail and its occupants. The guides are great since they make it interesting with jokes and humor. It is tight for people in wheelchairs and note that part of the tour is upstairs that wheelchairs cannot access.

Our tour guide Jimmy was fun and very informative. We learned about both male and female prisoners. We saw the cells where lesser crime victims were held, the female cells and solitary confinement. Fun for all.

This is pretty interesting! Have you wondered where the term Jailbird comes from? Ypu will learn here. Have you wondered what early jails had compared to these today?

Seeing the horrible conditions prisoners lived in back in those days was a weird experience. Its even crazier that they had no ac and it would get so hot. Can't believe the sheriff would let his daughter sleep next door to the inmates.
