The Basilica is undergoing renovations and upgrades for the 450 anniversary. When done it should be great. Mass was great. priests were very good!!

history and so much more when you visit this Basilica, St. Augustine is where the first Mass was held in the United States in the early 1500's. Not large, not imposing but beautiful and rich in its history, well worth the visit

Beautiful church! Can't wait to go back and take pictures. Under construction but still awe inspiring. Interesting history too! To God be the glory!

My wife tried to get in several times, before we figured out how to gett entry. A very worthwhile place to visit. Not comparable with Venice's great churches, but it has its own beauty and spirit, that is quite peaceful Get the little history book about it from gift shop.

Difficult to park near, but worth a stop if downtown. Especially love the Last Supper mosaic and statue of Saint Patrick.

Oldest church in America with a very peaceful, prayerful space. Still under renovation, and the visible murals are beautiful. We attended Saturday afternoon Mass, and the sound system was not very good.

Very beautiful church with wonderful stained glass! On the square in the center of Saint Augustine. Candles can be lit for a fee.
