As A resident of Saint Augustine we sometimes attend this incredibly beautiful and historic church. My husband has sung in the choir here a few times and the acoustics are amazing. You cannot help but feel all the history surrounding you when you walk in. It is the oldest Catholic Church in the country and worth the visit.

The history of St. Augustine is felt in the beautiful Cathedral. Stayed for a while to take it all in.

Beautiful Church with amazing architecture. Was a pleasure to walk through and have a time for reflection and piece. Only downside is people who forget that they are in a house of worship and carry on loud conversations disturbing others.

My wife and I walked thru this Cathedral, it is free to do so. The place is very beautiful and ornate. It only takes a few minutes and is worth seeing while in St. Aug.. I have lived in the area my entire life (54 years) and never knew you enter and explore this Cathedral. It was a neat thing... More

We visit this church every year because of it's beauty. It has been recently remodeled to be more private and separate the church from the gift shop. Gift shop is very pricey but the church is worth visiting.

Gorgeous Spanish Moorish influenced designs and architecture! Magnificently detailed stain glass windows, Stations of the Cross, Alter, Chapel, choir loft and more. A Blessed space that reverently welcomes the prayerful. The Basilica is a wonderfully magnificent treasure and historical tribute of faith and community.

The Catholic cathedral has been very well maintained and restored and the interior finishings, although largely very recent are done to a very high quality and it's a pretty place to sit. Volunteers are about to answer questions and are very helpful.

The restoration of the Basilica is simply wondrous! Truly beautiful and a must see for anyone who appreciates such a work of art and place of worship in this historical city. Go and see/feel the peacefulness.

The view of the inside of this place will take your breath away. Literally. So gorgeous in person. The photos do not do it justice
