St. Johns Golf and Country is a fantastic track with lush fairways and well kept greens. The greens are extremely fast, so you need to make sure you are putting from below the hole. Cannot say enough about the course condition. It is a must to play! I understand that members do receive a club newsletter and it states full... More

Played from the whites tees and it was challenging enough for me. Nicely landscaped. A few holes are close in to the houses, but never felt cramped. We got an 8am tee time for $38/ea. on golfnow.com. The greens are nicer than Royal St. Augustine. Great value.

This is a public course and did not require a reservation for a single individual. They worked me into a group right away and I enjoyed my fellow golfers very much.

We were visiting Jacksonville and could not get out to fish due to the rough seas so we decided to play golf at St Johns Golf and CC. Excellent facility with friendly staff. The greens are in excellent shape They cut and double roll them so they are fast. Got a great deal on Golfnow.com for $28. This is definitely... More

I expected more from their food. The service was friendly and quick. However, the grouper was too salty and over cooked. The pizza for the kids looked like it came frozen and was just heated. I was not impressed.

I play cards and eat lunch at St. Johns at least once a month. The staff is always friendly and efficient and the food is excellent. I like the fact that the menu changes frequently with new and different choices as well as old favorites.

Greens are in great shape and roll fast & true. The layout is challenging enough for a mid-HC golfer, and they have plenty of tees as options for low & high HCs. Plenty of water to make it interesting. The layout is enjoyable and the pace of play was just fine.

We played the course on 14th May and it was in great condition, the greens are fabulous pacey with a few subtle slopes. We played from the blue tees although the difference between the white and blue isn't that much, if you are looking for an enjoyable game with a enough of a challenge I would recommend St John's. We... More

Very good condition. We played in 4 hours on a Sunday. Everyone moved along, Folks are nice here. It gets some play but it's my favorite public course ( dollar for dollar) in the area. The greens are as good ( or better) at the moment than at the Stadium. ( they better get busy)

I played St. Johns Golf and Country Club for the second time yesterday 3/3/14 and from start to finish it is golf the way it should be. Upon pulling up to the bag drop, my bag was removed from the car and placed on a cart. For the discounted $42 greens fee, it is a real bargain, with course layout... More
