Had a wonderful kayak tour with Qunint. It was a trip I was looking forward to, kayaking again with my sister and brother and having the knowledge that Quint bestowed on us made even more enjoyable. Great trip!

A great way to experience wildlife in Florida. The balmy early evening weather and active birdlife was so pleasant. Our guide Quint (Quince?) was great-his knowledge of the bird life and other animals who habitat on the islands and mangroves added much to our kayak cruising. We were able to watch mullet jumping feet from our kayak, watched herons and... More

So much fun. We really loved our guides and were so impressed by their knowledge of the surrounding wildlife. Beautiful and a great workout due to windy conditions. Can't wait to go again next year.

Great intro to kayaking, and this ecosystem, for us novices. Enjoyed it very much; would like to do the evening tour sometime.

This is an excellent and relaxing tour. Our guide was Daniel, who was pleasant and very informative, as he marine biology student. The trip took a couple of hours, and the paddling was not bad. You go down the Intracoastal, then turn back into the tidal swamps and see a great variety of plants and habitat. Daniel gave very clear... More

Chris Kelly and his crew at Ripple Effect are amazing. We had the remarkable fortune to link up and spend the day with Chris on a tour of the estuary behind Marineland (also worth checking out!). Chris is literally a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the coastal area and connects with guests to make them immediately feel right at home.... More

This was our 1st time in a kayak and Clint was very knowledgeable and safety oriented. He took his time explaining all of the does and don'ts of kayaking. He was also very knowledgeable in the eco system in this area of Florida. Clint took the time to stop and point out native plant and animal life as we came... More

While in the Flagler Beach area we had hoped to find a kayak rental and spend some time on the water. On the way to St Augustine we just happened to see the sign for Kayak rentals and tours while driving through Marineland. We stopped, and reserved a trip for the next morning (5/22/15). My companion is an accomplished white... More

Even though the tide was too low for dolphins and water was too cold for manatees, we saw a wide range of birds, plants, and other life in the estuarine sanctuary. Most important, we learned a lot about the vital role these areas play in the food chain and how they are threatened. The unique location of this preserve at... More

Nice summary of the National Estuarine Research Reserve, aka GTM NERR. This system is unique and out our back door is the heart of this system, with tremendous biodiversity. As you learned we do not hunt, feed and/or entice the wildlife. Each kayak ecotour trip is different, but still a great time for all to enjoy with any level experience.... More
