What a spectacular way to spend a day... kayaking with Danny - an exceptional teacher, naturalist and steward of our precious estuaries. Several highlights of our tour included learning about and seeing different types of birds... ducks, egrets, herons, gulls, terns, pelicans, hawks, and eagles... as well as plants - red, white and black mangroves, grasses and sedges; and animals...... We are grateful for the opportunity to share this wonderful and beautiful estuarine ecosystem with you. Wow - our tour of the Guana River was spectacular. Danny focused on safety and taught us all how to kayak in no time. He enabled us the "see nature" and we saw 2 bald eagles, their nest, various birds, etc. We went in an out of the marshes as he gave us an educational tour of the area during... More

One of the best highlights in my first trip to Florida!! Danny was the best - he was an exceptional teacher, great sense of humor and made my adventure a delight! Came back to central California with an even bigger appreciation for Mother Nature. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. Can't wait to come back next year!

We wanted to kayak around St. Augustine and chose Ripple Effect Ecotours based on the numerous TA reviews. We would've been happy just to paddle around the estuary but our guide Brandon offered us so much more with stories and descriptions of the wildlife and environment. We thought it was going to be only an hour so, but ended up... More

Thank you for sharing your experience and appreciation for our team. The estuarine system here in the southern boundary of the National Estuarine Research Reserve and Matanzas Basin is amazing. We are all very fortunate, to include wildlife, that this area has been protected with tens of miles of continuous natural corridors for both habitats and watersheds. Happy Thanksgiving, Eric More

The pristine waters around Mantanzas Inlet make for a wonderful Kayak Ecotour. The Guides are professional, friendly, funny and informative. Our group was quite diverse yet managed to stay together, even as darkness approached on our sunset tour. If you want a low impact informative tour of some untouched Florida waters, this is the way to do it. Our guide... More

If you're deciding on a kayak tour, this is the one for you. Our guide, Brandon, is not only extremely knowledgeable (and from the area!) but a fantastic teacher.
