We had a very special and memorable afternoon today after we stopped to inquire about Ripple Effect kayak rentals. We opted for a guided tour with Quint, who turned out to be a great interpreter of this stunningly beautiful waterscape. Among venues we visited during our two-week stay in the St. Augustine area, I would rate this a perfect "5."... More

Super way to experience this part of Florida. Felt like we were miles away from civilization. Eric was super accommodating to our group. He answered inquiries promptly and was friendly and helpful. Brandon was a great guide on the water with lots of knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Daniel brought up the rear and kept our ragtag group... More

I was in town visiting my friend and she suggested we take this sunset kayaking tour. We had kayaked at Bing's Landing the day before but thoroughly enjoyed the views, information, wildlife & of course the sunset! Brandon did a great job and his sense of humor went well with ours to make it an enjoyable evening. It was made... More

Great cause for sure with this wonderful opportunity to see the natural beauty within a National Estuarine Research Reserve, GTM NERR. Then you get to visit and see the conservation and stewardship efforts of Marineland with over 75 years of history. We are available year round and watch the weather carefully. Thank you, Eric More

Before I even got on the kayak the phone conversations and service wereso helpful I wouldn't book anywhere else, and as far as the tour my 10 year olds were enchanted, the water and wildlife were a perfect combination to keep kids happy for several hours and the guides were interesting and fun. Money truly well spent.

This company was top notch. We had twelve people that wanted to kayak and they sent two guides with us. The guides Quint and Matt were great and extremely knowledgeable. We had a pretty windy day that day but the guides were able to keep us together and make sure everyone was safe. We also learned a lot about Florida... More

Yesterday my wife and I went on a kayak tour for a couple of hours with Quint of Ripple Effect Ecotours, in Marineland, FL (a special corner of St. Augustine). Quint took us through several parts of the huge nature preserve on the Matanzas River, south of St. Augustine. Ripple Effect is beside (and affiliated with) Marineland Dolphin Adventure and... More

Our guide Quinn was extremely knowledgable and funny, and taught us so much about the birds, estuary, and flora and fauna. You can tell he really enjoys his job and taking you out. The pacing was relaxed and made the trip enjoyable. The sunset was spectacular and seeing the kayaks glow on your way back was dreamlike.
