What a nice surprise. I've played just about every course in the area. King and Bear is definitely in my top 5. The course is in great shape. It's very challenging so don't be afraid to scoot up one tee box to make it more enjoyable. We played in under four hours which is another positive. I'll be back.

The course was a nice layout and challenging, but very playable. It played very slow as we waited on 16 of 18 holes. They had rangers but did nothing to pickup the pace. The workers were friendly but not very helpful. I would not spend the extra money to play this course again, as the Slammer and Squire was better... More

We very much enjoyed our round of golf. The course was in excellent condition and provided a fair challenge. Most fairways were reasonably wide which I always consider a plus for my often erratic drives. A little pricey, but worth it.

It is a delight to get to be able to play a course designed by Arnold and jack. The course was in fantastic shape. It truly is a great course, one of the best I have played. The next day we played slammer and squire which is also there at the world golf village. Really enjoyed this course!

Well worth the money. Have a blast playing on the world-famous course. The apples and mango water cooling towels are a nice touch. I would Definitely go back.

My wife and I went down from Hilton Head to see the World Golf Hall of Fame and play golf. We chose King and Bear from reading the reviews. We were hustled out to our tee time because of the amount of people the had at that time. They were scheduling tee times less than 10 minutes apart so there... More

Played it, loved it. Friendly staff, well maintained, great pro shop and lots of nature surrounding the course. Well worth the money.

I write this with a bit of a heavy heart! I was looking forward immensely to this course and was disappointed. Not because of the condition, it was in great shape, but a few things I hate about golf courses were prevalent here. Lots of houses bordering the course and the back nine in May 2014 was noisy due to... More

85 dollars to play 9 holes and then 30 dollars for my wife to ride in the cart I thought was exseseve .all the people seem to expect a tip. The course at best was average. Not worth the price.
