My grandson and I got there when they were about to close and the guide (first name starts with a E) so sorry, it wasn't visible on the document he signed at the beginning of the tour. In any case he was kind to take us around anyway. The tour was quite informative as I learned even more about the... More

I can't understand why all the free guide books in St Augustine fail to mention this very entertaining, kid friendly, hands on, historical museum/fort!!!! My 7yo son LOVES this place! I love that he is learning without being bored. Who could be bored with guides who literally make you feel at home in the 1500's!?! Best of all we never... More

Took my 10 year old grandson who, as it turned out, had been there on a field trip before. He was telling me things he had remembered. He enjoyed all the interactive activities, as did I. Highly recommend.

The tour was very educational and very interesting. One of the best fort tours I have been to by far.

Visited on a Saturday morning, with the grandkids. Señor Blanco gave us a fantastic tour, historically this place is great, and the tour guide was very knowledgable. Well worth a return visit.

Our family happened upon this place and we're so glad we did! This was a wonderful and educational experience. The staff was so friendly! The guide was so knowledgeable and everyone in the family learned quite a lot. This was a very interesting historical place to visit!

I wouldn't normally think to go here but we were on a school field trip. It was very education and interesting for children. Tour guides are dressed period costumes and very friendly.

Not crowded, tour guide lets you explore and comes back to check in so you do not feel rushed. Very educational, hands-on, and free tokens at the end which the kids loved to pick out something with at the gift shop! Super friendly staff.

Our tour guide, Tony was very thorough and explained the Indian and Spanish way of life. What a good history lesson. He spent a good part of our afternoon with us.

This was a great fort to visit. We loved that everything is hands on and there is someone to go around with you to answer questions or tell you about anything you want. There are plenty of period games and activities to entertain kids and adults alike. You can earn ducatos (coins) that can be spent in the giftshop when... More
