We took two of our teenage grandchildren on this tour last week with Janice. It was very informative and entertaining. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a little bit about many aspects of St Augustine's history with a lot of family secrets thrown in to keep our interests peeked.

This tour is a nice diversion from the other story telling and ghost hunting trips offered. I very much enjoyed the current stories that have happened in this century. St. Augustine continues to be a thriving center of angst and history. I learned a lot. Janice was very nice, a little concerned about my kids and a filtering system for... More

We booked this tour specifically because it was focused more for the history lovers than the ghost-hunters. Steve, our tour guide, did an excellent job keeping us entertained and teaching us about the local history, lore, and legend. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure everyone was involved and having fun on the tour. A great time was had by... More

I was a bit skeptical about going on this because I never cared for history. Maggie made me feel so welcomed and inspired me to learn so much more and our history. She just made everything so interesting. I'm definitely coming back and I want her to be my tour guide again. She is so full of knowledge and you... More

Maggie, our tour guide, did a good job projecting her voice so that everyone could hear and walked at a comfortable pace. The stories were interesting and I learned a few new things about the city. The only part of the tour I didn't like was when we were walking to the fort. I'm not a fan of walking on... More

Perfect weather for a walk about. Started in rather large group 15+. Sometimes hard to hear over the road noise along the bay and roadway. Nice to hear about the history of city from another perspective than from a ghost town.

I have previously taken the Savory Faire Food Tour with this company and it was fantastic, so I expected great things from this tour. I guess I expected more mystery, mayhem and murder stories, the history I knew. There was more history, than the other and it was a little disappointing, maybe more slanted for first time visitors that don't... More

We loved our tour on September 16, 2013. Steve was such a friendly guy and so knowledgeable about the history of St. Augustine. He is very good at telling the story of the city - nothing dry and boring about him!. Four of us were on the tour (hi back to J.P. and Naomi - whom we loved visiting with,... More

St. Augustine is a great place to wander around in the evening without a guide, but Steve enhanced our enjoyment of it tenfold. Very good knowledge of the history of the area, lots of interesting stories and a knack for bringing the history to life. I fully recomend this tour. He had lots of time for questions, conversation, and was... More

This tour was great because it was factual and full of history. Steve was a great guide into what makes St Augustine so mysterious and had plenty of stories to tell of all the mayhem that occurred. Steve definitely made our night in St Augustine come alive with the stories he shared.
