I only started researching some of the stories b/c they seemed so interesting, I figured, let me see if they really are true. Don't want this to be a spoiler, but suffice it to say that the Sheriff's stories are only partly true. Still, he's a character, and a great storyteller. Everyone in our group, from a 12 year old... We saw the great reviews and decided this was probably the best tour in the city. Great decision! What a fun tour! The Sheriff is a top-notch storyteller. Everyone in the family had a great time from my 90 year old mom to my 7 year old daughter. My daughter talked about how much she missed him for weeks. More

I have been on the Sheriff's tour 3 times now and each time that I have gone to visit the Sheriff Guy White I have learned more and more about the history and facts of things that have actually happened in this fabulous ancient city. I recommend you go visit Sheriff Guy White in downtown St. Augustine this was wonderful.... More

My husband and I took this tour not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. We heard lots of great stories from Sheriff White. In addition to the stories we learned historical facts about St. Augustine. More

Better than expected! The history along with the ghost stories was worth the price. Not a dull moment. We had an 8year old with us and she loved it! She's still talking about it. More

Just coming up to St. Augustine for the day. We didn't know what to expect, but the Sheriff was very entertaining. At first we where the only group that showed up for the night, so I thought it would be a fluke. He really knows his history about St. Augustine. It is an amazing city that I would strongly reccommend... More

My family and I just got back from St. Augustine. This is our second trip. The first time we were there we went on the Ripley's Ghost train. They did a pretty good job, but we decided to give someone else a try this time. I'm so glad we did, The Sheriff does a wonderful job of blending the history... More

My husband and I took this historical walking tour with Doug on our anniversary weekend. We enjoyed it so much that we're bringing the kids (teens) back next month for spring break to do it again. Doug is thoroughly versed in the history of the area and presents this information in a fun way. Nothing boring or stuffy about this... More

We took our three children (ages 8-13) on a Sheriff's History Walking tour. It was a cold day in St. Augustine so it was just the 5 of us. We were initially concerned that a history tour wouldn't hold the attention of the little ones well. We were wrong. At the end of our two hour tour each of the... More
