Our three-year-old son loved this attraction. We stayed for about two hours and were able to see the entire park and take in a couple of the shows/demonstrations. We saw an alligator feeding in the main lagoon in which one of the keepers entered the enclosure and tossed small, dead rodents to a few of the alligators as she gave... more

I enjoyed the visit very much. Not much people there when me and my family arrived 1 hour before closing. So it was easy to get around and see all the reptiles. The set up really feels like your in the tropics - which you are of course. The staff was very informative. Also a lot of interesting birds to... more

Extremely handicapped accessible. They even provide wheelchairs and strollers as you first enter the park...ABSOLUTELY FREE. Yep I said FREE. Every exhibit has a plexi-glassed in area so all exhibits are easily viewed by both upright guests and those of us that are vertically challenged. The animals are mostly kept in areas mimicking their original habitat. They have many colorful... more

My husband has always had a fasination for alligators, so we knew we were stopping here when we planned our trip. Boy do they have the gators!! We arrived just in time to see them throw rats for them to eat. They must be well fed because most did not seemed too fazed by the treats. We had a pleasant... more

When we tell visitors that we're taking them to the Alligator Farm they often have a bored or confused look until we get there., Then it's lots of , "Oh Wow" and "Way Cool." From young to old, they are all impressed and awed by the huge amount of all the species of alligators and crocodiles. The attraction also has... more

We had a great time visiting the Alligator Farm with our three elementary- and middle-school aged children. You can get right up close with dozens, if not hundreds, of big Florida alligators; you can watch the trainers feed them (they eat frozen rats) and see them in a natural swamp-like preserve with a safe wooden walkway. There are also tropical... more

First, this attraction was way over priced! Adult rates are in excess of $20. We were through, including shows, in just over 2 hours. The show depicting wild animals of Florida included a whopping 3: owl, snake, & rabbit! I was not impressed with this attraction at all. Gatorland in Kissimmee is a much better deal!! more

Just returned from a trip (4-08), if you love birds, this is a great time to go. You'll see egrets, herrons and wood storks nesting along a boardwalk over the alligator lagoon. Very nice park with plenty to see. They have a good selection of crocodiles from around the world. If you have children, Gatorland in Orlando is more kid... more

The St. Augustine Alligator Farm is St. Augustine's best kept secret. There are wildlife shows every hour. Each one covering a subject for someone in your group, from alligator feedings, to colorful rainforest birds and mammals. The rookery is absolutely amazing in the spring. Wading birds from the surrounding area nest in the trees above the alligators. The staff says... more
