Fascinating from one end of the farm to the other. Alligators, crocodiles, tortoises, lemurs, & many varieties of exotic birds. The exhibits are well laid out and marked. Lots of shade! We went during feeding time which was really fun as the alligators actually respond to their names. Plan to spend at least 2 to 3 hours to really enjoy... More

The alligators and crocodiles are really interesting but the must see are the nesting birds in spring. Quite why you'd try to raise a family over a lake full of alligators beats me. Every tree was full of nests, some with young already hatched in various stages of growth and others still at the egg stage. I'll crib the list... More

We were looking for a place to spend an hour. We were there for 3. The Farm is well kept. There are educational programs. To see that many species of crocs and gators was awesome. Feeding them was fun. The thing I liked best was the nesting birds. The rookery was loaded with shore birds sitting on nests in the... More

Fun, plenty of shade, and great in the spring with nesting bird rookery! See nesting Wood Storks, Roseate Spoonbills, Herons, Egrets and more all close to boardwalk patrolled by alligators which ensure the raccoons don't bother the nests but don't fall out baby birds!

I have been to the farm several times and each time I find something new and amazing. This visit the alligators were very active moving around. Males making their grunting sound that vibrates the water and extends their throat out into a pouch making the kids (2nd grade field trip) very excited. They (kids) even saw the male alligators 'wrestling'... More

I was there in late April, when the rookery was filled with breeding birds. Lots of people on the boardwalk early in the morning taking pictures. After checking out the birds, I walked all around the park. Fun to see all of the different types of gators, I didn't even know they existed. Definitely a good place to bring kids.

If you just want to walk around a park, this is a great little place to hang out on a Saturday. The gators are in a protected area, yet they are visible from the walk areas and suspended walk ways. Fun for kids.
