The wax museum is a must to see. The various statues are very interesting. The people that are restoring the wax figures are quite talented.

I visited several times, when relatives would visit, with the last being a few years ago. Unless they cleaned it up, it looked old and uncared for. Entire areas where historical figures were posed in seated positions, there was dust covering their laps, shoulders and other features. It obviously had not been dusted in years.

Self-guided tour--lots of room for pictures. Mostly figures of historical times but some from present day. Info about each person posted nicely. The artists have done a great job.

The attention here is extremely good. They give you advice about what to know in town and are very honest with everything. You have to stop here if you're gonna visit St. Augustine.

We really loved the wax museum! We visit St Augustine every winter but this was our first time at the museum. The displays are so life like, it was truly amazing!!! Highly recommend the visit for adults and older kids, too! Awesome, lots of fun. The oldest drug store up in front of the museum was also very interesting!

We were very impressed with this museum. We spoke with one of the workers who explained that they were working on about 20 pieces at any one time. They are happy to answer questions and you can view them working. It seemed like a small place but every time I turned a bend there was more. They have people from... More

A great collection of wax figures from years ago until present time! Had a great time going through and realizing how tall or how short someone really was.

I love that the person who sells you the tickets also then let's you know that this is the first wax museum in the country and gives you info regarding the time it takes to create the figures. You can also observe and interact with the artists was they work on new exhibits. It didn't take long to see- maybe... More

You can never tell a book by its cover and this is a perfect example. Inexpensive and expansive, it covers many important historical periods and characters. The are no barriers, velvet ropes, or glass windows blocking your experience. You can quite simply stand next to, or in front of any of the figures, and many are dead ringers. The work... More
