Excellent ranger program and the view from the roof is fantastic. The movie gives the audience a real appreciation of the way wars were fought oh so long ago.

We loved this national park! It's free and a lot of fun. Make sure the kids grab their booklets so they can earn their Jr. National Park Ranger badges. We took the ferry to the island (about a 3 minute ride) and stayed on the island with the ranger for the tour and exploration (30 minutes only). The kids completed... More

We were staying close enough to walk to the park. We took advantage one morning and had a great time. The boat to the fort and the tour was fun and this unique piece of history in a beautiful setting was fun for all. You can see everything in about an hour and a half without rushing. The guides were... More

This is a national monument and is free to visit. You have to take a 5 minute ferry ride to get to it but its neat. It's like a mini fort! Very friendly and knowledgable staff.

My husband, kids (ages 7 and 4), and I had a great visit here. It is a much, much smaller version of Castillo de San Marcos, but it will not cause disappointment. For starters, everything is free: the parking, admission, and ferry tickets. You will not have to pay a penny for anything, although donations to continue preserving the park... More

My husband and I were passing through the eastern side of Florida and were planning on stopping in St Augustine to see the fort there in town. On the drive, we saw a sign for this fort and decided to check it out. So glad we did! This is a free attraction (that's right FREE). The fort itself is very... More

This is a unique piece of history that deserves to be remembered! A look into the past first hand! The rangers were very knowledgeable and contributed a lot of history to this interesting place! A Spanish fort in North Florida cannot be missed! Great for kids!! This is a FREE attraction!

to the southern tip of Anastasia Island. Brief boat ride takes you to the southern guard post for Spanish St. Augustine. Interesting history in beautiful natural setting. Great beach to walk on across the road, too.

I have been to the fort many times but this trip was the first with m grandchildren ages 11 and 7. They gave me a new perspective of the fort and a new found appreciation for it's history. The people in period costumes were fantastic and the beautiful weather that day didn't hurt!!! I was surprised after the tour that... More
