Great views of the St. Augustine inlet from the fort's parapets. We always take a walk around the fort after a good dinner in one of St. Augustine's many good restaurants.

The view of the water from the top is a must. It is a must see for St Augustine. Loved that people were dressed up in period costumes giving a talk about the history of the fort.

It's a Fort with history. Plan for 1-2 hours and you will be set. Great views of the Bay. If thunderstorms are in the area, they will shut off the upper part of the part.

Go early in the day when it is cooler--would be miserable at mid-day as there is little shade. Take water or have in cooler in car. Gift shop with some interesting items. National Park so the kids are free and seniors with pass get up to 3 or 4 adults for free--otherwise $7.

It was a lovely and a very hot day to visit, although we had been there once before. Very authentic and a lot of history. I would recommend anyone that is in the area have a visit. Great photo opportunities.

Me and the family had went here in 2006 and decided to visit it again. It was just as good as the first time. While it was crowded on a Saturday morning, we still had a great time. The park staff is great and they have a live cannon firing every couple of hours. It is also right across the... More

My wife, our boys and I enjoyed this very much. The views from the second floor was amazing of the city and water. Worth the time but it's very hot during the middle of the day so plan your visit accordingly.

Interesting history. Makes me want to learn more. You get a discount if you are active military with ID. The guy two in front me tried to finagle in with some kind of VA story. The guy in front of me tried a similar tale. I had to go with the "I bought Girl Scout cookies - do I get... More

Been there several times. Can't get enough it. Great place to take pictures, or just to enjoy some quite time. Take advantage of the gift shop. You will not find things cheaper in town.

I would only go if temperatures are more modest. The location is very warm. The tour though is still underwhelming and a lost opportunity to tell a great story. No audio tours or guided tours are available.
