We enjoyed checking out the exhibits before climbing up the lighthouse. Interesting history. Nice views from the top. Wear good comfortable shoes for the climb. Note, kids must be 44" tall to climb up the lighthouse. The exhibits about boat making were especially interesting.

If you're interested in old school mechanisms and architecture, then you've come to the right place. The climb up the winding stairs is rewarded not only by the view of St. Augustine and the Matanzas River but by a look at the largest class of Fresnel lens made. It's still operational but now turned by a motor rather than the... More

St Augustine Lighthouse & Museum is a must see when passing or visiting the St Augustine, FL area. I was passing the area on my way home from a long drive back from New York. I always wanted to see it and talked my brother into stopping off there. Climbing was a challenge but the view was so breathtaking from... More

This was only my second lighthouse climb, and compared to the previous, this one was pristine! It is a gorgeous lighthouse and has an incredible view at the top. I recommend going first thing in the morning to beat the heat and the crowd. There are coupons all over St. Augustine for the lighthouse, but really it is worth your... More

Lots to see and do. View of St. Augustine was not as good as expected but still worth the time and money. $9.95/adults $7.95/kids and seniors.

I went at night with a tour. The lighthouse is beautiful never seen one. Well made. It's supposed to be haunted but I didn't see any paranormal activity.

You can feel the history when you walk in that house, it's amazing to know there is story behind every wall every hallway . When you go up those stairs and reach the top the feeling its indescribable.
