How can you not love a lighthouse? They are absolutely stunning and this one is no exception! Without a doubt, this is the prettiest lighthouse in all of Florida. It stands high above St. Augustine and provides an awesome view of the river and ocean!

Visiting the light house was great. There are many stairs so not for the faint of heart. They had a display where they were restoring some old muskets that had been found... Very cool.

The lighthouse is awesome to walk up to the top. The people working there are very friendly and accommodating.

St. Augustine lighthouse, one of the best kept lights on the eastern seaboard. I've been to many lights, but this one is a must see if you like lighthouses. Grounds we'll kept. Lighthouse in great shape. Must climb to fully appreciate.

Take your time climbing up. Stop at each window on the way up to catch your breath and the nice breeze. Walk all the way around the outside for a fabulous view of St. Augustine. The museum's inside temperature is cool and a welcome change from the heat of the day. Make sure as you leave the lighthouse garden area... More

I have been to this lighthouse several times and I just love it. It is great exercise to climb the stair and nice views. It is very windy at top so hold on to young children.

We are a family of 6 so it was a little pricey for us to visit. So we walked around the shop and took pictures from outside. We have done other light houses and I don't remember it costing that much? A little disappointed.

Dear Reviewer, I'm regret you didn't come on in and see all we have to offer. We are so much more than just a climb to the top, offering tours of shipwreck artifacts, a nature trail and playground for little ones, as well as exhibits about a port city that is 450 years old this weekend. In your review you... More

The St. Augustine lighthouse is one of the tallest ones. There are 219 steps to the top, and I climbed them twice in one day. There is a sign as you go up that says, you have climbed 153 steps, only 66 more to go. That was a great feeling to see that. The steps were easy to climb. There... More

Lots to see and do here on a self-guided tour with trail map and markers with descriptions of items of interest. We climbed to the top of the lighthouse to see the view and the First-Order Fresnel Lens (the largest size). We also walked a bit on the trail and toured the light keeper's house. Do a tour with a...
