My husband had never sailed before, so I had a little surprise for him. I packed a picnic with cheese and crackers, cut up fruit, and fabulous bottle of wine. They provided beverages also. We had the Sunset Cruise on the water. Perfect evening a nice breeze kept us cool and the water was very smooth. Captain John was an... More

We went for the sunset cruise, it was $10 more per person for a total of $45 each. We were introduced to our friendly young crew by the captain. Prior to launch we could see the Pirate ship next to out boat with rowdy pirates and lots of kids. The Schooner was a nice quite cruise and sail past the... More

A beautiful ship and a friendly/informative crew made for a very enjoyable trip. We did not have much wind, but we enjoyed the trip anyway. Helping to raise the sails and having our young children take the helm added to the experience. Highly recommended.

Sunset Cruise on the water. Perfect evening once under way a nice breeze kept us cool and the water was very smooth. Peaceful ride and the crew is very engaging whether it was answering questions about the boat, sailing or just personal interaction. Great Time!! Great way to relax and unwind from a long day of sight seeing and playing.... More

We went on the sunset cruise (6:15-8:15) and everything was perfect! Great time of day, with the temperature cooler it was definitely worth the extra cost. Captain John and crew were very friendly and engaging; we felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. I have never been on a schooner so I was a little apprehensive about how smooth... The crew we had was fantastic! Kimberly was so great making our reservation and we were so happy we got moved up to the sunset cruise! It was just s beautiful night! Many of the younger passengers helped raise the 5 different sails which was fun to watch, all of the other guests around us were super friendly. The crew... More

First time on the Freedom. Took the Moonlight Sail. The weather was perfect. I was hoping that we would actually sail but ended up just in the bay and spent 1.5 hours looking at the same scenery...the fort and city. Not sure why we didn't sail around or maybe I was just unaware that this is what the "moonlight sail"... More

We sailed with Captain John (what a doll!) on a very pleasant, cool evening in early July. It had just stormed and the weather was perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. All of the crew, except for one, were young men and very clean cut, dressed nicely, and very engaging. There was one young lady on the crew, a... More
