Blue Hole Mineral Spring is an attraction and resort hotel located in Brighton District, Westmoreland (only 9 miles southeast of Negril). Blue Hole Mineral Spring sits beneath a cavernous opening in Jamaica's terrain and is completely encased by Karst limestone. Naturally occurring minerals in the limestone (known for their therapeutic value) act as an underground filter for the steady upwelling of water, leaving behind a luxuriously pure bath of minerals for guests to enjoy. I wasn't really sure what to expect so it may be my own fault that I was underwhelmed. The hole it's self it quite narrow. I didn't expect for it to be in the setting that it was - hotel, pool and "bar" area are right there with it. For some reason I thought it would be in a bit... More

This beautiful serene mineral water blue hole is amazing. I had the pleasure of receiving a limestone massage from a very friendly respectful employee named Rico. You can climb down the ladder or jump into the crystal clear water. I am 55 and so glad I decided to jump. I know if did not I would have gone home regretted... More

about 30 minutes by scooter from Negril, this is a nice way to spend an afternoon. The hole is lovely - you can jump in or climb down the ladder. the water is beautiful and you can get a limestone massage if you feel like it. The rooms look nice (i didn't stay) and not sure i would because there... More

My family and myself spent the afternoon at the blue hole and everyone enjoyed themselves. My son and his wife and kids all took the dive with the exception of my 7 yr old grand daughter who was helped down the ladder by one of the young gentlemen that work there. They had a great time and it was fun... More

What a great kick-back place to chillax and get away from crazy 7 mile beach. The locals Rico and Reggie were crazy and funny. My daughter and I didn't jump in the hole but they were swinging from a high tree and jumping in....unbelievable! There's a bar and hotel and fresh mineral water swimming pool. Everyone there was so nice.... More

we spent the afternoon at the blue hole last april and its a great place to either have some heart pumping fun jumping into the mineral spring or you can just kick back by the bar and pool. hope to be back soon to enjoy it again.

This mineral spring was awesome. A little bit of a trip to get out here but worth seeing the country side, colorful houses, free roaming goats, etc. All of the guys were really nice and encouraging, as my friends and I were a little nervous about the crazy jump! One of the guys there (Nicholas) was rad and even gave... More

I liken this place to a "local" Rick's cafe. It's got the high jump into the blue hole, but not all the tourists. I still recommend going to both, as they are both a lot of fun and have different feels to them. This is definitely more of a natural local feel to it though. They charge you $10 a... More

We had seen the pictures of this place so we had to come see for ourselves. Our guide brought us here (quite far off the beaten path, but soooo worth it!) From the top you could walk right by and never notice the hole, oh, but once you look inside, you'll be amazed. The cave is full of gorgeous turquoise... More

You can come to the blue hole, if you are too chicken to jump in (like me) you can hang out at the pool, get a massage, eat some delicious food or drink at the bar. If you are in the area, Id say definitely visit it. This can be a 30 min adventure, or full day.
