I like this place. It was fun with the family but I would not pay the rate that you have to pay to get in.

You can drive the entire distance of the main lake which makes it very easy for young children. When we visited we saw: osprey, various herons and egrets, ducks, and (always popular with the northern visiting family) an alligator. Be prepared with cash or check to pay the low-cost entrance fee.

Red-cockaded woodpeckers were nowhere to be found (or heard) when I visited -- maybe they are all tired out by the evening, though? But there are still a lot of birds to be seen. Babcock-Webb is a big place with no real trail network so the only practical way to see it is by car. Driving into the park on... More

Fun ride through the "Jungle" with lots of gators and crocs. Very informational about Florida as it once was. Definitely a Wildlife experience worth a family visit.

My son and I decided to try the shooting range today. We had seen mixed reviews but went anyway. We never got off a round. While walking across the parking lot we were muzzle-swept several times by the idiots at the pistol range. We watched for a bit, and those guns proved to be loaded. There may have been range... For 3 bucks its a good place to shoot. Range officers on site and keep it from being the wild west somewhat. You do have to watch out for the odd young idiot giving a gun to his girlfriend and she waving a loaded gun around, and the old man not knowing which end the bullet comes out of. Keep... More

There is a lovely drive around a large lake with numerous places to stop and fish. A great shooting range is here and is free for seniors. there is a pistol, a rifle , and a shotgun range. I you draw a permit, there is great wild pig hunting as well.

Great place to see wildlife in their natural habitat. Winter is the best time to visit to see the diversity of Florida flora and fauna.

I love nature so this is one of my favorite places. You can camp, hike, there is a shooting range. My husband and I enjoy Cecil Webb and stop there from time to time. It is relaxing and a great way to get out into the nature.

This is an absolute great place to visit if you enjoy nature! Great fishing and hunting locations , and, a first rate shooting range staffed by experts! Safety is an absolute at this range! The cost is minimal and it's great for the whole family! Recommend the range to be visited mid week!
