A great place to visit or take visitors because of the unusual layout-- where else can you see a car drive thru the shopping walkway?? Fisherman's Village has a variety of cute shops, waterfront restaurants, ice cream, frozen yogurt, and candy store, The glass store is one of our favorites. The guys or anyone interested in history, can stop in... More

This is a nice place to visit in the area of Punta Gorda. They have lots of shops and some restaurants as well. A nice afternoon on the water would be found at Harpoon Harry's. If you're lucky enough to get a seat by the water, you may see dolphins jumping out of the water. If you want to dress... More

This is a "must-see" while in the Punta Gorda area! There are all kinds of shops from gift shops to boutiques to candy and coffee shops and 4 restaurants, all under roof. In the center court, there is music every week-end. At Christmas, the entire complex is decorated with a million lights…its just lovely!

Fishermen's Village is a great tourist stop but has a faithful local following too. There are a few restaurants that offer varying appeal. Restaurants: My top accolades go to The Fish Market restaurant and bar started by New Englanders has doubled in size due to its excellent fresh fish. If you love thinly sliced onion rings made fresh (not frozen)... More

If your in the area, this is a great little place to stop. It has cute little shops and a couple of restaurants. We had lunch at Harpoon Harry's at the very end of the pier. It was an "OK" place food was good not great, service was good not great. View was beautiful. All in all if I was... More

Stopped here on our way to the Peace River Wildlife Reserve..there's some fun shops (a do it yourself yogurt place, a sea salt soap store being our favorites) and a few restaurants that specialize in seafood. While going more than once won't be required, it's worth a visit and a walk around.. There's not tons to do in Punta Gorda,... More

What a wonderfully, fun place to visit for a few hours. The shops are unique and prices were not outlandish. Loved that it was covered to keep the hot Florida sun off of you but open to get the cool breeze. We ate at Harpoon Harry's at the end of the dock. It's all open, menu was big and food... More

Love shopping in the shops and love eating at The Captains Table and Harpoon Harry's. The shops range from Laugh Out Loud where you can buy games to Tropical shops where you can buy home decor items.
