The shops overall were great. Would have given a full 5 stars except for something I saw at the Caged Parrot. A young mother with a well behaved little girl about 3 years old was in the store. She was obvious a serious customer and was buying several things. She was in there for quite a while and just as... More

Glad we stopped here. Loved the outdoor shopping and the quaint shops. Watched the boats and had lunch. Had some ice cream. This is a nice place to visit when not out and about on the beach. We did stop at the military museum and it was very cool, and FREE... worth a visit. Very pet friendly place too.

This week known shopping area has lots of interesting shops, but also the standard "touristy" places. The upper level has time-share condos. There are several restaurants w/various price levels and most, if not all have beautiful harbor views. There are harbor tour boats, as well as fishing guide services. Beautifully decorated at Christmas. And has a concert area and frequent... More

There are a couple of nice places to eat, but overall the place is looking old. It seems as though it's perpetually about to close for the evening, even in the middle of the day. For being a waterside complex, it just doesn't have the energy. They have no shortage of overpriced ice cream and doo dads. There are some... More

We live in Punta Gorda and Fisherman's Village is always a good place to go for an afternoon of shopping or an evening of browsing and having dinner. Several unique stores and good restaurants. Also entertainment in the courtyard on Fri and Sat. evenings. A beautiful view of Charlotte Harbor and the Marina. A relaxing enjoyable place.

Our first visit to the village was terrific, it was a Thursday night the sun was just setting as we drove over the causeway to the historical district of Punta Gorda. We had dinner overlooking the water and then wandered over to listen to local musicians in the park. If you are a musician you can join in with the... More

Nice, peaceful, on the water, few restaurants, free wifi. No public transportation or taxi. But a lot of parking space in front. Closed at 9pm.
