The shops were cute although all for tourists. The restaurants were fun and had some good seafood. The Village Fish Market was the best place to eat.

Unless you love to shop, avoid this place. Older, smelly, not nice. Birds were flying into the bar and stealing food from the tables.
A must do in Punta Gorda. You will spend anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on your food choice. Take the time to enjoy a sunset at harpoon Harry's.
Fishermens Village has nice little stores for crafts and gifts, as well as a few places to eat tasty food and have nice dessert. The view is nice in this open air mall and off the Bay, and boat rides are offered. We enjoy going to this mall to walk, shop, eat and browse around. Very relaxing, as well as...

Everytime my wife and I have spent time at the Village it has been most enjoyable. Visiting all the shops, walking, browsing and eventually having some dinner at the Captain's Table has been a great experience.
Friend heard about this place so we decided to check it out. It is a nice size so you can stroll around and enjoy the shops. It was fun going in and out of the shops and of course buying a few things along the way. Very pleasant atmosphere. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax. There are...

Fishermen's Village is a Marina, time share and Shopping district on piers extending into Charlotte Harbor in Punta Gorda SW Florida. After 30 years, it needs a bit of updating, but the individual shops inside and the Harbor front dining at Harpoon Harry's is still a lot of fun. Clothing, shoes, artwork and gifts can be purchased for the family...

My wife and I were driving to Ft. Myers and as it was lunch time, we decided to stop at a complex of shops and restaurants called Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda on the way. We were glad that we did. We had an excellent lunch with water views at the Village Oyster Bar and toured most of the small...

Being an old geezer, I'm not real fond of shopping. But this open-air, under roof row of shops with a view, was enjoyable. All the shops are small and some, reasonably priced. The view of the boat harbor is a nice diversion. Good restaurants too.
We make this a destination along with the rest of Punta Gorda, and have lunch at the Seafood Market half way out the pier. The shops are great here for poking around, but my favorite is Laf Out Loud that sells games and funny cards.
