I have enjoyed the multiple shopping sites plus good food at The Fish Market. Many events put on thru the year to entertain visitors.

I am very glad our flight was delayed and we needed to burn some time after check out from our hotel. We had a good time going through the many shops and having lunch with a view of the water. Was able to pick up a few last minute souvenirs at a decent price.

Fisherman's Village is a good place to wander in the summer heat or on a rainy day. The enclosed boardwalk provides views of the water, and the buildings have recently been repainted - looking a little less dated. There are several places to sit on the water and drink and dine, but many of the shoppes are loaded with tacky... More

We frequently take guests here after doing the beach scene or if there is down time from other activities. Shops a bit pricey but there is good variety available.

This is a well kept secret if you are looking for a laid back casual experience. Though this is a time share resort, no one bugged me to buy more points, more weeks, or to come to a presentation. The sales reps were there, but there was no pressure, no hype...REFRESHING!!!! I could walk into the office and take care... More

We just love the seafood buffett on Friday nights. The food is always good and warm. When we lived in Punta Gorda we were going all the time. We now live in Phoenix Arizona and would kill for a seafood buffett like this place. When we visit Punta Gorda we always make sure that Captains Table is on our radar... More

As far as tourist traps go, Fishermen's Village is a decent one. There are many upscale and pricey shops that sell everything having to do with living in a tropical setting and some simple fun stores that offer off beat gifts and collectibles. My favorite shop is the Dragonfly glass shop. I could spend my entire retirement savings in that... More

A lovely place to visit with quaint little shops, places to eat including Harpoon Harry's bar & Resturant at the end of Fisherman's village, it has a great atmosphere and great views of Charlotte Harbour. Beside this is charter trips for fishing and also Sunset Cruises which are great value to see Florida's fabulous sunsets!

My friends and I were on a car trip from Sarasota and decided on the way back to visit Punta Gorda, as none of us had been there before. We found a brochure in our hotel on Fishermen's Village and it offered waterfront shopping, dining with a lovely marina attached that offered boat trips that seemed really reasonable, but we... More
