A lovely place to visit with quaint little shops, places to eat including Harpoon Harry's bar & Resturant at the end of Fisherman's village, it has a great atmosphere and great views of Charlotte Harbour. Beside this is charter trips for fishing and also Sunset Cruises which are great value to see Florida's fabulous sunsets!

My friends and I were on a car trip from Sarasota and decided on the way back to visit Punta Gorda, as none of us had been there before. We found a brochure in our hotel on Fishermen's Village and it offered waterfront shopping, dining with a lovely marina attached that offered boat trips that seemed really reasonable, but we... More

What a great place. Shops, dining, entertainment, boating. A good place to walk. Many of the shops are touristy stuff but then, for all you ladies, there is a great shoe store---The Ruby Slipper. My fav! The Travel Jewelry Store is different and worth a stop. Lunch, dinner or cocktails at The Captain's Table is so pleasant. I've always eaten... More

Some of the shops in the village are just typical of touristy places. A few did stand out. The Travel Jewelry Store was different, and smart. I liked the war museum. As you walk around you can hear many veterans talk about their tour of duty. Harpoon Harrys at the end is just overpriced fried food. I would eat before... More

We live in the area and visit Fisherman's Village occasionally, mostly for the nice walk, the boating scene, and the nice shops in the central walkway. If you like boating, the Kingfisher fleet is based here. They offer various sightseeing rides to various local destinations at varying times and different trips on different days. Also offered are fishing trips both... More

I brought my Parrot, which stays on my shoulder. I was eating at the Fisherman's Village Resturant outside. The people loved my bird, "Puppy." He is very friendly and comical. I watched as the wild birds landed on the floor, the tables, and the condiments. They carry bugs and diseases "Puppy" does not. However, I was asked to leave, rudely,... More

Most of the shops were open for business. There is a nice variety to choose from and several eating places.

There is not much else to visit! But this area has been very well done----not just the normal t-shirt shops---pretty neat. Captains Table restaurant had lousy service---we left---ate downstairs

Fisherman's Village is a great place to go for unique shopping and some very good restaurants. Lots of Florida style clothing and shops with locally crafted items. A nice mix and there are charter boats for fishing and tour boat to see Charlotte Harbor. A fun day after being sun burned at the beach where you can stay out of... More
