Park is beautiful, the staff is amazingly friendly and accomodating. They are super dog friendly, too, which is great. Great place to walk or kayak. Been coming here for a few years now. This year it was the first place we visited - to walk and decompress. Even saw a Gopher Turtle!

Gives you the chance to see Florida as it was. It is well maintained and cheap. There are a number of entry points.

Took the family canoeing and went through the exhibits. Great place to enjoy nature with the family. We loved the displayed, snakes, turtles, etc. and nature trails and canoeing

Very nice trail, easy walk, very scenic and interesting. Wonderful Florida nature experience. Wild and natural, old Florida. The river is spectacular, the wildlife is fascinating. The staff is helpful and informative. Alligators and birds, snakes and fish, a different kind of place.

Good place to go for an easy hike. There is also a good nature center where you can learn what to look for. Look for the American Bald Eagle

This place is truly wild. No facitities once you hit the trails. Bring water. I've seen rattlers/alligators/tortoise on the trail.....and occaionally a bicyclist/hiker or horseback rider. Don't go after heavy rains....the trail washes out. Bring a camera.
