Well, my husband has been wanting to take our dogs to the beach for some time now. Unfortunately, we live in Okeechobee so no beaches here! He found this one online and it is about a 1 hr 15 minute drive and we went the other day...it was great! Our 9 year old basset hound had so much fun running... More

Looked for a dog friendly beach and found this one on trip advisor. Only problem is that the second suggestion for going to Walton Beach is that it is a new NUDE beach. I want to let the doggies roam but moreso in a literal sense. Can anyone verify that this is or is not a nude beach? Thanks

This is a great beach to take your pooch out for a run. Lots of friendly dogs, miles to run off leash, and the Ocean to play in, our dog loves it here. The beach is also great for just sunning and relaxing. Fishing is more challenging due to the name sake ROCKS in the surf just beyond the water... More

Its a fairly quiet beach with lots of room. Very little in shells but lots of fun loving dogs and their owners. Its off by itself. Sometimes surfers and paddleboarders visit this beach too. People take care of their dogs here and pick up after them. The dogs can be off a leash.

If you have a dog, this is THE spot to go. If you don't, it's not so pleasant! I am a dog lover, but I don't want to sit on the beach where dogs are allowed to roam without much supervision.

Couldn't believe how good for dogs this place is !! Great free parking & the most fantastic beach imaginable ! Superb shells, lovely sandy beach & lots of happy dogs running around - my idea of heaven. And - fresh water & a hose to clean the dogs off afterwards. One amazing place

The beach is located just south of the nuclear power plant on the A1A. It is one of the few dog friendly beaches in the area. There is ample free parking and easy access to the beach.

After a Karate tournament went to check out the beach. Beautiful clean long beach. It was a sunny day. Too cold to venture in and swim but ok to get your toes .

Located just south of the St. Lucie nuclear plant this is a wonderful beach if you have a dog that loves to run off leash. Most dog owners know there are very few of these beaches and they are definitely a treasure . It is a great place to meet people who share many common interests in their animals. Walton... More

Super clear, clean water with lots of beautiful small fish and unusual flat rocks and golden sands. Nice nature walk to the beach. Love this natural beach!
