If you are searching for clear blue/green water, clean white sand, huge sand dunes, and the feeling that you're on a deserted tropical island...this is the place for you. It costs $6 per vehicle to get in and it's well worth it as long as you're not searching for entertainment in the form of activities. There's nothing here but beautiful... More

Been here a few times and it's always a great spot to get away from the noise of Panama City and life in general. You are rarely within a half mile of other people while on the beach, but with that said it should give you an idea of facilities available. No real facilities other than a bathroom near the... More

The guys fished on the bay side while the ladies and small kids crossed the street to the gulf beach side. Beach is very nice, clean and relatively empty. Bay side has a place you can rent kayaks, which we did, and minimal fishing tackle and snacks. It costs $6 to get in and you can go in and out... More

This park is the most beautiful area we have visited for beach photography and enjoyment. No crowds, green and turquoise gulf water with clean beaches and towering dunes with sea grass and sea oats sparkling in the sun.

St Joseph State Park has some really awesome beaches without being too crowded. The facilities are great too. It's not too built up around the area so there's no rowdy bar scene to worry about. That said, it's a quiet place to relax. If you want clubs and bars, try the other beaches west of Port St Joe like Panama... More

Beautiful park and something for everyone! Swim on the bayside and spend a calm relaxing day looking at ocean life... Urchins, crabs, conchs, crabs, starfish, and more. Rent a kayak, take a raft and pack an umbrella and lunch for a full day on the bay. Go to the beach side and play in the waves for a while. Restroom... More

We spent 2 days here. Loved there is beach and bay access in one place. Snorkeling in the bay was fabulous. Spent hours looking around. Very pretty and clean.

Beautiful Park. We had a great time walking the beach and exploring the area. We saw deer, a sting ray, urchins and several sea shells. The park offers many activities from fishing, to camping, wildlife viewing, boating, bicycling, hiking or just having a nice picnic. We had a nice day visiting the park. :) The fee was 6.00 per vehicle.
