St. Joe State Park is one of the few pieces of "real Florida" left in the state. It's a Peninsula that lies between St. Joe Bay and the crystal white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Truly a vacation destination, the park offers tent camping, RV camping and your choice of 8 cabins. No matter which you choose, you can... More

We visited this park in October of 2014. We had much of their beautiful beaches to ourselves. Next time we visit here, we plan to cook hamburgers, as they have some great picnic areas. Plan a day here and you will love it! All of their facilities are well kept and clean. Great place for family fun.

Port st joes beach is the most beautiful nature preserved white sanded un occupied beach for miles. The Cabins (8 of them) that are available to rent in the state park are perfectly situated on the bay side. The accommodation is good. A beautiful walk on the board walk and onto the dunes brings you to this amazing beach un... More

Stretches of white sand, beautiful beach homes, wildlife and salt life. All found in this forgotten coast seaside park. Great location!

This place is my number one place to go camping. I love the campground as it offers a wonderful array of sites to choose from. Additionally, you never know what visitors you may have during your stay. Wildlife abounds and includes deer, raccoon, and a great variety of feathered friends. The boardwalks leading from the campgrounds to the beach make... More

Have been going to gulf coast for years boating and fishing....today, much to our surpprise a $10 launch fee for non county residents required to use the ramp......additionally there was no parking for truck and trailer as the lot was half filled with passenger vehicles..no trailers! Port st joe would be nothing without tourists.....half their businesses would have to shut... More

This is a great place to go to the beach or launch your boat in the bay. Lots of wildlife around also. We saw deer and wild hogs here. There is also a nice kayak launch on the bay as well.

We fell in love with this park on our last trip to Cape San Blas. We decided this trip to stay in their cabin for a more secluded bay front restful vacation. For the price you really have all that you need and can't complain much except I do have a few to mention. I looked around and there really... More

Being the environmentalist we are, we were looking for a place to become "one" with nature and enjoy the beach. This campground is amazing, clean, quiet and beautiful. Shady Pines will give you the most shade and all lots on both grounds are a very short walk to the beach. Lot 51 is one of the best for Gulf Breeze... More

We just got back today from a weekend camping trip. We planned on going to the scallop festival and thought we'd spend a few nights in the park. Our site was listed as full shade, but we had no shade at all. Not a big deal, just really hot. We woke up Saturday to a deer standing outside beside our... More
