Excellent beach and facilities, a bit out of the way (but worth the drive)

Didn't get any pictures because we didn't stay long. Its a nice park but it needs more coverings for shade. Seen an alligator in water by the playground. Not a bad place just not the place we wanted to swim.

Great Florida gulf coast beach. A bit of a drive to get there, but well worth it. Beaches have restrooms and outside showers to rinse after swimming. Beach access on both the gulf side and the bay side (walking distance). Also an outside contractor where canoes, kayaks and paddle boards can be rented on the bay side. Note that there... More

Stayed on the cape and took an afternoon to visit the park. It was beautiful! $6 to enter and receipt works for entire day. Walked the nature trail...with 2 strollers in lots of sand. Can be done, but would be better with back pack. Cool bay side trial that kids can walk. Saw decent sized alligator at shelter off of... More

Award winning Florida State Park located on the Cape San Blas peninsula. Gulf of Mexico on one side, St. Joseph Bay on the other. Pristine beaches. Beautiful nature trails, boardwalks, salt marshes, etc. Abundant wildlife. We spotted deer, red winged black birds, cardinals, voles, raccoons, alligators, snakes, etc. The rangers were friendly, and kept the common facilities well maintained and... More

The camp sites were pretty basic, but had water, electricity, fire pit with grill and a picnic table. I was there with a large group of motorcycle riders to honor a fallen rider. I camped in #119. It was not real roomy for even our small tents. The restroom and showers were clean and well-kept. The only minor complaint I... More

A pristine beach and coastline but the real treasures are found on the Bayside in the first lagoon near boat ramp. Pack your water shoes, kayak, paddle boards for a day of discovery is crystal clear shallow waters. No small boat they can be rented at boat ramp. But if you have small little net or water gloves there are... More

Big dunes and a nice beach but the camp spots were a little worn and right up against each other. There are two campgrounds here and each has easy beach access within walking distance of your campsite. The campground we were in was all burnt up from a fire and regrowth was happening but it wasn't very beautiful. We could... More

We drove here from Port St Joe ant a 25 minute drive. I think it was $6 to get in. Beautiful and serene but the beach was buggy

Very nice State Park. The only reason it does not get a excellent rating is St George Island is even better
