We spent 2 days here. Loved there is beach and bay access in one place. Snorkeling in the bay was fabulous. Spent hours looking around. Very pretty and clean.

Beautiful Park. We had a great time walking the beach and exploring the area. We saw deer, a sting ray, urchins and several sea shells. The park offers many activities from fishing, to camping, wildlife viewing, boating, bicycling, hiking or just having a nice picnic. We had a nice day visiting the park. :) The fee was 6.00 per vehicle.

So beautiful. Water is clear bluish/aqua. Awesome sand dunes really high. Very few places to eat or shop so this is truly getting away from everything. Get groceries before you arrive. Worth the effort

This is the real Florida. White sandy beaches with huge sand dunes and emerald green waters greet visitors at this park. Stop by the first parking area when you enter the park and you will have access to the bay or Gulf of Mexico. The ocean was free of marine pests and had very little seaweed. The bay was crystal... Uncrowned, pristine beach in the wilderness area. It appeared almost untouched by man. What a treasure this park is!

Camped here three days and encountered lots of wildlife, including a small little dusky pigmy rattlesnake. (Sistrurus miliarius barbouri) breathtaking dunes and sunsets. We snorkeled the bay and say pin fish, rays, puffers, and some huge Florida Horse Conch. The bathrooms were clan and the rangers were friendly. Do be prepared for the No-See-ums, they ate us up, no matter... More

If you're looking for clear blue waters plus peace and quiet this is your place. Cottages are available and, yes, they fill up early. There are also two nice camping areas. Gulf on one side, bay just a few yards away. Good scallop area.

We spent the day here enjoying the peace, quiet, and ocean. No commercial bullies and fund sucking kiosks. The park offers natural landscapes and un-refinished scenery. Great place to stop and unwind.

We spent a lot of time in the wilderness perserve and pretty much had the bay an beach to ourself. We snorkeled and saw nurse sharks, hammerheads, stingrays, starfish, etc. the park has multiple beaches and was beer crowded. Definitely a place to go, see, and stay.

Nice park with paved bike riding trails and about 10 miles of hiking trails with secluded white sandy beaches. Great snorkeling and swimming. RV camping and tent camping. Like with most state parks you have to book way in advance.
