I have always liked Port Charlotte Beach Park. Its not real big, but provides a very nice atmosphere for beach walking, and pier walking and fishing. Play ground for the kids or grandkids. Never over crowded if you go in the evening hours. we always enjoy our visits there.

A local peaceful area to enjoy the sun and sand as well as a pool. Beautiful view to sit and watch the water, jumping fish, and numerous birds flying overhead. We brought chairs onto the sand and did a little wading as the water is shallow. A nice picnic and barbecue area is available and next time we will take... More

Clean and easily accessible. Plenty of pooches, no leashes required. Dog fountains and even dog showers.

My son and I came to launch our Sunfish sailboat and try a little salt water sailing in Charlotte Harbor just before noon on a Saturday. The boat ramps were busy but we had no trouble getting in and out and people were mostly courteous. One person got in a bit of a hurry but that happens at a lot... More
