Boat ramp is ok, but getting out into the harbor is a bit of a challenge even for an experienced boater. The beach and complex as long as I have know it has always been "dirty" and not so well kept. Trash, repairs always being done or needed. I realize this is a complex on the water, but the general... More

Not much here. Very little stretch of sand, and we found dog poop twice on the beach! We stayed in Punta Gorda and went to this beach (but did not stay!) because of its proximity. There is a pier for fishing which might interest some, as well as bathrooms and a small pool.

I liked how secluded it and yet how family oriented. My grandson had a great time and we were able to have a nice little picnic at the tables. Lots of fun things like a playground, volleyball net and basketball courts not to mention the beach.

There are no large waves, or sharks here...just calm waters, white sand, and lots of sunshine. It's also quiet and not crowded. It's a nice walking and sunbathing beach.

I have always liked Port Charlotte Beach Park. Its not real big, but provides a very nice atmosphere for beach walking, and pier walking and fishing. Play ground for the kids or grandkids. Never over crowded if you go in the evening hours. we always enjoy our visits there.

Breathing the ocean air, watching the wide range of birds, and checking out all the shells. Saw a very big fish jump completely out of the water close to us, within 50 yards...

On the Gulf of Mexico (actually on the mouth of the river) just a short drive from Sarasota. Nice clear water and plenty of space
