This is a great golf course and in wonderful condition. We would definitely go back again. Good value at $25 including buggy.

Took lessons from Bob. Not only is he a nice (and patient) guy, but he is the first golf pro who every actually helped me improve my game - and if you saw me play you'd know that was a low hurdle to jump!

I have lived in Port Charlotte for 26 years. I am currently 61, an 11 handicap and have played Riverwood about 3 dozen times. I play the white tees which are about 6000 yards. The course is in excellent condition with the fairways plush (although narrow), the ruff about 2 inches deep, the sand was a little tight (but consistent... More

Great golf course and very good layout. Numerous tees to allow for all levels of golfers. Great practice area and pro shop. Course is always well maintained and while expensive to play it is worth the experience.

This is one of the best courses in the area. Just punched the greens, but they will be fine early July. Played with a starter at a different course today, and he agreed

Incredible golf course that takes you the beautiful nature of South Florida. Course conditions are pristine and the staff goes out of its way to help you. I wish I was a member so that I could play all year round.

Played Riverwood for the first time today. What an excellent facility; beautifully manicured course set amongst well presented homes. Received a very warm welcome in the pro's shop, at cart pick up and the starter. Everyone seemed genuinely keen to ensure I enjoyed my experience at their course. The course itself was everything I'd hoped having read the reviews. Challenging... More

Riverwood is an extremely well-cared-for golf course in a parklike setting. The golf course is challenging but fair. The clubhouse is casual offering lunch daily and special events in the evenings on a regular basis.

Very nice golf club, great condition, very friendly staff. Play speed is excellent, very different holes, nice greens. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Great golf course but: the guy at the bar likes to serve water as a martini: someone needs to introduce him to the concept of GIN!
