Seafood festival was running while we visited. $15 entrance fee/person. Lots of good food, but be careful of prices. Plate of seafood ran from $15 - $25 for a paper plate on beach. Good band playing. Lots of crafts. Beach and pier closed for 3 days to general public even when festival not running. I was running on beach in... More

If you're in Pompano Beach, the pier is a nice walk as part of a day at the beach. I don't consider it worth a special trip from other areas, but if you're looking for picnic tables, beach, parking and a pier, then this is your place!

Good parking, free to walk onto the pier, but the end is blocked off... not sure why. Plenty of people fishing, taking photos, etc. The beach nearby is ok, nothing too special, but there are local businesses closeby and a nice area to walk and bike.

The beach area was very well maintained. They were cleaning the beach area early in the morning. The park area is very nice and easy to get to from the area hotels. Lots of people were fishing off the pier which has free access. Nice area.

Part of the Pompano Beach beachfront renaissance. Soon to come restaurants, shops and possibly even a hotel all right next to the pier.

Pompano Beach is not the best kept secret anymore. Everyone knows our little secret. Close to everything, not too commercial, not too residential, free pavilions, green space and miles of beach! Downside: On extra beautiful days you can't get parking.
