This is a great place for a school to bring their students and learn about the world of the extinct.I was amazed at the rooma nd the education that this adventure has.My Son loved this and was picking off all the animals that are now extinct but he knew nearly all of what they stoofd for in the world that... My son was a bit older when we went (10), so he wasn't extremely interested. There were some things that caught his eye, don't get me wrong, but it seems like it's a park more for younger kids and/or those with a strong interest in dinosaurs.

Have your grandchildren for the day near Tampa, FL; who doesn't love dinosaurs?! Take them to Dinosaur World near Plant City, FL. They can view life-size dinosaur statues outside in a real Florida plant jungle, dig in the sand for real fossils, crack a geode egg, see rare dinosaur bones and fossils in the museum, with placards to identify the... I have a 5 and 2 year old and we love this place. You can get through the park in 4 hours. I'm a local, so I have yearly passes and it doesn't get old for the little guys. We have been 3 times so far. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Eventually, enough people will post this on tripadvisor that people will actually build up their expectations TOO much, but thankfully that was not the case for me and my family. My two sons (4 and 7), wife and in-laws decided to go this past weekend. We had seen the entrance from the road (they live in Brandon so this is... More

I wasn't expecting so many Dinos here, there were tons! My mom loved it because of all the beautiful flowers and plants. Lots of shade except the playground. The cave lady/paleontologist was wonderful! Very funny and excited about fossils, don't skip the cave tour or fossil dig either. It's not necessary to pay extra for gems or to feed fish... More

This was our second visit to dinosaur world as my three year old was very excited to return. Good size park for young families. Nice playground. Lots of dinosaur replicas to see. Koi fish to feed. There are a few mechanical dinosaurs in the museum which our little guy was terrified of.

I have driven past this attraction on the interstate literally hundreds of times, and never stopped. I am SO glad I finally did! I went with my husband, two kids (2.5 and 8 months), my parents, aunt, brother, and cousin, so it was a mix of us. We ALL enjoyed it! The park is much larger than it looks from... More

We paid the extra for the fish food, mineral panning, and fossil dig. At an area in the park you get a bag of gravel and a framed screen and go to a water trough to pan out the minerals. We got to bring home some nice colourful rock we can polish later. The park has some very nice recreations... More

If you are in central FL and need something to keep the kids busy that is not in Orlando, this is perfect. A full tour with the fossil dig and show should take 3-4 hours. The grounds are very nice. Think of it as a botanical garden with plastic dinosaurs. My daughter loved the boneyard area. The adults may be... More
