My husband and I walked the pier in the morning. It costs $1.25 per person but it's worth it because you get a wristband that is good all day. The man who sold us our wristbands had zero personality but his conduct was professional. It seems like a long walk to the end but there are great views from the... More

If you like to fish the ocean then here is a good spot. It is also a good place to get some vacation photos for your social status. See Dolphins, jelly fish and other fishes swimming about below. Great sunset views.

A great place to stroll and watch the sunset! We also saw a small shark and some dolphins! Well worth the $1.25 walking fee!

We walked the boards and found really nice restaurants and shops to enjoy. Across the street is Pensacola Beach which was very clean and the water was a lovely aquamarine. While we did not eat there, the restaurant.."Hemingways" look like a good place to grab a bite and enjoy a cool drink while looking out over the bay.

Didn't realize until afterwards there were two sides. The sound side and the ocean. We found a little restaurant that was on the sound side and sat out back and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Afterwards, we walked on the pier and got ice cream and souvenirs.

Pensacola has changed and updated. It is a beach area near the Pier that everyone congregates on the weekends. It is a fun place, great seafood, great fishing, people watching, sightseeing and photographing the ocean. I highly recommend the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier and Pensacola Beach.

Costs 1.25 a person to go onto the pier. Lots of people fishing from there and lots of others standing around, me included :-) There are several areas that need repair. Kind of scary walking on loose boards.

Loved the pier. Some boards appeared to be rickity which is quite scary considering there were sharks down below. YIKES! $1.50 per person, kids SHOULD be free in my opinion though. Will go back for sure.

It costs $1.25 to walk out on the pier, more to fish. We went out at sunset. The pier was crowded with people fishing. It was nice to be able to look out and see Pensacola Beach in each direction. It was also neat to be able to look down and see all the fish in the water. I'm not... More

On an impulse, we decided to take a walk here before we headed home on vacation. It is a shame that you have to pay to walk on the pier, but it is only $1.25 per person (you will have to pay more if you are going fishing). Most the people on the pier were fishing, and the pier offers... More
