A landmark worth seeing.

So much is going on in the area surrounding the pier. It is fun to go to the end and catch a commanding view of the shoreline. Especially at sunset.

For a small fee you can rent fishing rods and buy bait. It is a cheap and easy way to spend some time with kids.

We liked the white sand, friendly people, nice places to eat. Get started early for weekend visits. Be prepared to wait in traffic. Toll not part of Florida Sunpass System =(. Wonder why they do not choose to provide more, better access to the beach?

The fee is $2-3 to walk it and $5-7 to fish on it. One of the longest pier I've been on, it almost feel like I'm in the middle of the ocean. Our first day of fishing we caught 11, me 2, Spanish mackerels. The only thing is you have a long walk to the restroom. With the fee you... More

For $1.25 per person we were able to see fish, Dolphins, Sting Rays, & Sea Turtles. If the water is clear & you have time, it's a must do.

Many places to walk to and variety of choices. We ate at Hemingways which had great food and romantic atmosphere. for some reason we had a "Valley girl" waitress which seemed out of place for this upper class restaurant. I would go back again the place is a keeper.

the cost was very reasonable, and the kids could not believe they were so far out over the ocean. There are even telescopes that you can look through. It is a beautiful way to go ater dark and see the lights and stars!
