very knowledgeable ladies there, will tell you exactly where, when and why to go, they have local maps. They were the ones who told us about the Blue Angels practice or we would probably have missed it! so thanks to them!

If the staff @ the Visitor Center is any indication of Florida friendliness then I will go to Alabama for vacation. We were there March 5 about 10 AM, not a " Welcome to Florida or Hi, how are you today or Can we help you with anything", the 2 people behind the desk just sat there while we walked... More

Nice new building with many brochures about the area, friendly helpful staff AND the pirate ship aquarium built by the show Tanked was a nice touch....they gave us a free bumper sticker - "I Saw The Pirate Ship Fish Tank At Perdido Key, Florida"!

Staff seemed bothered when we asked them about things to do....alas, a visitor requested information! Perhaps a smile and welcome to Florida would be a good start. What a waste.

Don't miss a drive over to Gulf Breeze and then onto Santa Rosa Island....Pensacola Beach is just incredible on the way over to Ft. Pickens. I was very impressed.

Took a morning break to grab a breath of fresh air and walk around the park at the Visitor Info Center. It is right on the bay at the Pensacola/Gulf Breeze bridge. All paved and concrete sidewalks. Easy access from Hwy with ample parking. Shelters with picnic tables and provided BBQ grills. Facilities in the center and you can even... More

The Center is right on the bay at the bridge between Pensacola and Gulf Breeze. So it has picnic tables, nice view of bridge and water, birds, and fishing pier to walk out on (or drive if paying to fish). Lots of useful brochures, and staff to give advice.
