You can see the Veterans Memorial Wall, along with other veterans displays. The grounds are neat, clean and well-kept.

I love it because of the wall.. I went there to see if I could find my cousin name on the wall who died in Vietnam. This park is beautiful.

Very nice park commemorating Vets from World War 1 and 2 as well as service members from the Vietnam War with a smaller replica of The Wall South like they have in Washington D.C. & Korean War statues. I believe the maintenance of the park is solely done by donations. Very nice and totally worth a visit.

Hawkshaw Lagoon Memorial Park is a quarter-mile inlet located on the south side of Bayfront Parkway, across from Veterans Memorial Park, which serves as the National Memorial for Missing Children. A pedestrian bridge spans the lagoon and leads to an observation deck with the memorial's centerpiece, a sculpture by artist Sam Nettles called "The Sanctuary".( just copied and pasted that... More

We headed over the day before the Million Vet March. As vets, both my wife and I were very impressed with the park. There are several areas to quietly contemplate what Veterans have sacrificed to keep our country safe. I highly recommend visiting this park to anyone who is interested.

We enjoyed walking around the park and seeing the high quality monuments. The Wall South is worth the visit, and when you discover all the other monuments, it feels like winning a prize.

Veteran's Memorial Park is on the bay front in Pensacola, There are several small memorials to various groups of veterans as well as The Wall South, a smaller scale replica of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in DC. The park actually includes a storm-water treatment pond that is beautiful with flowering plants and several fountains. It is a great place to... More

We liked the "Moving Wall". Built in 1992 with funds from the VVNF. Bronze statues are excellent with great detail. All branches of the service are covered included the American Red Cross. Very moving and worth the time. Be sure to get pictures of the pond and take the time to walk the paths.

This is a great place to walk and to see the memorials in honor of the armed forces. The Wall was especially enduring to us since my husband is a Nam Vet. It's a lovely park within the city. Many of the local people came here to walk.
