Small, but very meaningful Veteran's Memorial.

I learned about this small, compact Veteran's Memorial Park prior to our trip to Pensacola. It was a bit difficult for us to find, but well worth the effort of looking for it. We visited this park in February after a freeze, so the plants and grass were not at their prime. That did not diminish the experience of walking... More

The reduced size of the Vietnam Wall copy here does not diminish its emotional impact. The other tributes to various wars, victims, and the military equipment all serve to remind a visitor of just how privileged we are to live in this country. There are benches to sit and contemplate the meaning of what you see.

The reunion was Viet Nam Vets. There was a Vietnam Wall like in DC. There was a helicopter like was used in Viet Nam & memory benches. WW11 , Korea, Marine Memorial, Purple heart memorial, & women veterans. It was in a park like setting with a walking path around a pond. Very well done & plenty of free parking

It permanently has the Viet Nam Wall south, and includes all conflicts from the American Revolution (Minuteman Statue) to current times.

A walk through this park is a worthwhile experience. A part of this park houses Wall South. A good way to spend thirty minutes or so.

Since my husband is a veteran, we often stop to visit veteran memorial sites when we tour new cities. The memorial park is worth a short stop, especially on a pretty day. It is on a highway that runs beside the bay For some reason, our GPS thought that the park was on the bay side of the road, so... More

If in the Pensacola area, highly recommend visiting this park to honor our veterans. Park like setting....easy access....30 - 45 minute stroll thru the park to view the various memorials. Nice place to also sit and reflect. Very well kept up.

My husband served in Viet Nam and I felt compelled to read every name on the wall. Visiting the plaques, monuments, benches, and inscriptions, again caused me to well up with gratitude for the Americans who not only gave years of their lives but also, their lives to preserve our freedom.

Love this park. I attend the local college in Pensacola, and it's like a miniature version of our monuments back home in D.C. I often go here to check up on the geocaches, and also just sit and study.
