A beautiful park dedicated to veterans from the Revolutionary War until today. We were staying in a downtown hotel with our dog and found walking him in the park a couple of times a day to be a wonderful part of our stay.

After visiting the Pensa-cruise car show, we decided to have lunch in the park at the Veterans Memorial. We drive by this every day and see parts of it, but you simply cannot imagine the pure serenity that is yours to behold at anytime of the night or day. The glorious waterspouts and fountains, the lovely landscaping and outstanding memorials... More

Small scale memorial just like the one in DC. It is so sad seeing all the names on the wall. Lots of good men died in that ugly conflict!

Take your children to see the Vietnam Wall--be ready to answer some tough questions. One Thursday (or Friday) a month there is a "Heroes Among US" speaker who relates first-hand history. Check the PNJ for dates and times.

Moved to Pensacola last year and finally visited this fine memorial. Was disheartened to see children climbing on one of the Korean War memorial statues. Spoke to the mothers of these children. These parents did not understand why we would be upset that they allowed their darlings to use the statue as a jungle gym. These mothers told us that... More

I chose this park for my picnic-themed birthday party. It was full of beautiful greenery and access to electrical outlets and above all served a great purpose...to honor our veterans. Having so many family and friends that are members of or have been in the military this place made me feel really proud to be able to say this park... More

A visit here should remind anyone of the privilege we all share to live free in the USA. It should also remind us that Freedom is not Free.... All one has to do is look at the names on 'The Wall' and realize.... All gave some, but Some gave All.

Highly recommend this park as a stop while in pensacola. It won't take more than an hour at most but could be done faster. The history and statues that are available are second to none in the area. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this piece of history.

a good place to teach your kids a little about the history of the wars and battles fought by our service men & women. A place of respect and dignity
