If you love long walks on the beach, this is it. It's never very crowded, so you have lots of room to explore and enjoy the area. Just as beautiful as any other white sandy beach along the Gulf Coast, except without the crowds,

If you are going to the beach to enjoy the sand and surf without your space being "invaded" by screaming children and other disturbing distractions, you will be so happy you found Johnson Beach. It is a peninsula that has both a windward and leeward side. If you choose to be buffeted by the wind and do some surfboarding you... More

Large beach area to explore. Beautiful untamed dunes and sandy beaches. Quiet lagoon hiking area. Lots of sea birds.

This is our go to beach for the family. As locals we are always looking to avoid the big crowds. Great covered area with tables restrooms are generally clean for the beach. A little out of the way but worth the effort.

I've seen many beaches in my life and there's nothing spectacular about this one. You have your sand and you have water. The only positive is that it is not crowded. Plenty of free parking everywhere.

What a great beach to stroll on. Miles of white sand. Avoid the crowds and traffic. Spend some time at Johnson Beach.

This is my favorite beach in the area. If you want to avoid the crowds at Pensacola beach, this is the perfect place. Clean white sand, clear emerald water and practically nobody around. Entrance is less than ten bucks and the permit lasts a week.
