A worthwhile stop. To the left of the visitors center there are lots of picnic tables and a restroom with beach views. No dogs allowed on the beach. To the right of the visitor center there is a little walk with informative placards. There is a very good trail off of this walk that goes on for some time (a... More

Checked out the exhibits and looked out at the water. Nice view and saw some egrets and herons. Fine for a quick stop and to add to your "places I have been". Nobody else was there when we stopped by.

We stopped for a quick break and found a gem. Our kids enjoyed the exhibits here and we all learned more about a tree we've always admitted for its beauty. The boardwalk trail was excellent.

This place is wonderful. The beaches, the hiking trails, all just wonderful. The beaches are usually quiet with not much people.

I love to hike and explore all things nature, but I just couldn't get into this place. Lots of scrubby brush...not sure where any of the 'live oaks' were as I didn't see anything. Trails were so so....sandy, but uninteresting.

Naval Live Oaks is not hard to get to but be careful if you mapquest for it because it will put you on the hiking trail side of the reservation. Since our son is in a wheelchair, the path that is accessible is on the side that has the education building. The path is .8 miles long and takes you... More

This park is off of Hwy 98 in Gulf Breeze. The park is open 7 days a week (except big holidays), but the building for education is closed on the weekends. The park does offer a lot of education opportunities about the habitat of this part of Fl and the creatures who share it. Behind the building is a short... More

The water in this area is dirty looking. Great for fishing, but no beach area and the water is filled with seaweed. The land area is clean, the building is closed on the weekends.
