From sugar white sands to Ft. Pickens, where Geronimo is held, make it a day on the island. $1.00 to go through the toll gate. Worth it!!!

The Gulf breeze, a stroll on the white sand, the sound of the crashing waves, squawking of the sea gulls, diving pelicans fishing for their dinner...all of this will wash away your stress and cares.

Very nice white beaches. We visited on windy, slightly chilly Sunday morning. No crowds. There were a lot of crushed up shells in the sand here so might hurt without shoes.

Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island is perfect for families. Awesome restaurants abound, fun activities for children, shopping for tourists, and of course, the sugar white sands beaches are incredible!

You must take the time to drive to this beach while you are vacationing in Gulf Shores. Wonderful, relaxing, and a sight to behold.
