It is nice that this is a venue that follows others who have helped develop and revamp the old downtown Pensacola. A group of us watched "American Graffiti" and enjoyed not only the nostalgia of the movie but the entire ambiance of this tastefully restored theater. This theater caters to not only movies but symphonies, musicals, Broadway shows and many other... More

I have been a season ticket holder with my sister beginning year two. The shows are always phenomenal. It's great to have dinner downtown and see a show. Some of the shows that I wasn't sure I would even be that interested in have turned out to be some of my favorites. We have just seen the first show of... More

The facility was beautiful and the acoustics were good. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I was working at this facility doing audio for a concert event. Easy load in and out.

Don't know what we'd do without Saenger, the variety of shows we've seen have been excellent and the small size of the theatre gives it a cozy feel.

Just need a Soda Jerk to take a steady date and the night would be complete. 1950's charm and elegance to watch movies, see plays or listen to a concert. It is so cute!

Back in the day (mid 1900's), the Saenger was the major downtown movie theater showing first run movies, and I got to be an usher while in high school. These days, it provides special showings and live performances. You can still get a feel for the old movie theater, and some of the inner railings and such came from the... More

I much appreciate the history, architecture, preservation, special classic movie showings and unbelievably low pricing ($5 Adult ticket for a classic color movie...wow!, Thanks) of the Saenger Theatre. That said and this venue recommended, beware: the seats are not "staggered", at least in the center/center section, and this floor section is level-horizontal. I.E., if you sit behind someone, or they... More
