I've been to Pensacola beach on several occasions in past years but after the winter here in MN it was especially nice to feel clean sand and salty air on Pensacola beach the first week of April. This beach is huge. Plenty of families and young people both locals and vacationers. Some shells in the shallow surf. I love how... More

What's not to like about ocean surf and beautiful white sand. Wonderful place for the family to hang out and have one of the best times of their lives. Take your sunscreen!!

The beautiful fluid like WHITE sand will surprise and make you fall in love with Pensacola Beach! The sand is quartz based and comes from some of rivers that flow into the Gulf!. Unlike beaches on the Atlantic side of Florida which you can literally drive on due to their hardness, Pensacola Beach will come up over your ankles when... More

Pensacola Beach has the most beautiful white sand. You don't realize what a difference this makes until you've walked on it, and it makes for gorgeous photos, too! Life guards are on duty during the long 'swim season', just be sure to pay attention to the flags. Beautiful water and sand, great restaurants, ....makes for a memorable vacation. Very family... Our beach is the best beach. Every time we take vacation and enjoy other beaches (while they are nice) we always say they cannot top our pretty white beach. There are so many nice places to stay if you want to spend a week at the beach. Or if you just want to spend the day, and go to a... More

First few days here were great. We enjoyed the beautiful fine white sand. But then the wind and waves kicked up and washed lots and lots of jellyfish up onto the beach. My 6 year old didn't want to go back to the beach after that.

Pensacola Beach is one of many along Florida's panhandle that provides you with sugar-white sands. The beaches are clean and beautiful. Pensacola Beach is family-friendly and there are even some pet-friendly areas. There is a no-alcohol beach, but usually, there are no serious problems with alcohol. I live in Pensacola, so visit the area often. Ft. Pickens is a nice... More

Went in early April for our winter get away and temps at the beach were cool but the white sand and clear water were great for the kids. Clean but not flooded with spring breakers.

There is a non-alcoholic beach for more family friendly fun, and on the other side of the pier the bars line the beach with beach acceptable beverages, it's nice to have the option!

we lived near Pensacola Beach for ten years. we were only 10 minutes away from the beach so we went at least two times a week. of all the beaches we visited Pensacola was absolutely the best. the sand was so fine and white that it was like sugar. because Pensacola is not the big tourist location like Navarre or...
