Food is expensive so to keep a budget stick to the following, The native Cafe is an absolute must for breakfast or lunch, Next for dessert if you love chocolate drop by crabs for a pound of chocolate delight its like 7 bucks. If you hate chocolate go get dessert at flounders where you will find an impressive key lime... more

We visited Pensacola Beach in late October. We have been to a couple of other beaches at this time of year, one other on the gulf. Of the two gulf beaches, Pensacola was my least favorite. The sand is beautiful; the water was a nice pretty dark green. Unfortunately, there was wind while we were there and the red flags... more

My best friend moved to Pensacola for college and ended up staying. It gives me a great excuse to visit whenever I want. I don't really know much about the hotels as I always stay with her, but there's plenty of places to grab some food or enjoy a night out. The beaches are phenomenal. The white sand beaches are... more

Just getting home from Marriott Springhill Suites on Pensacola Beach. It was so nice to be right on the beach. It was very peaceful and beautiful. We would go to beach early in morning (some people out there for 6am) and then around 3pm in the afternoons since the heat index was 105. It didn't feel this hot with the... more

The beach was very clean and beautiful. I did get stung by jellyfish several times on my feet, so watch out for that! more

Very loud. Food was not good and was very expensive! This was one of the most expensive meals we had. Staff was very friendly. Was very chaotic in there! more

The first week of October you will find my husband and I on the beach. We love this time of year and the beach and island are not crowded. Several great places to shop and eat. The people have always been friendly and courteous more

April of 2009 contained more rain and storms than decades previous in Pensacola causing the water to become less clear than its normal state. Typically the water in Pensacola is clear to the bottom even up to waist and shoulders deep. more

Pensacola Beach has really bright white, soft, powdery, sand, and the water is almost an emerald green color. i wouldn't say it was the clearest water i've seen on the Gulf, but average i suppose. the major drawback to Pensacola was all the jellyfish in the water! my family and I were stung several times while swimming. there wasn't very... more
